Let me know what you think. The quality isn't that great on some of these since they are streaming, but the mp3s I have of each song are much better, so I have those if requested. The singer's voice is pretty bad, which is what led the band playing in the recordings to break up, so you can toggle the vocals on and off.. any feedback is appreciated thanks.

WOW, I think you've discovered a way for me to listen to John Mayer. j/k

I didn't have time to listen to all of the songs (56k sucks), but I did listen to Evolve. The song itself was pretty cool. Of course you already know that you had a singer in training, but your chord progressions are pretty unique and deviate from something standard like a 1,4,5, or a 1,6,5 progression. Actually the song has a "Trance" sound to it. You should try redoing the material with only acoustic guitar playing rhythm and then overdub and play the vocal part. Keep up the good work.:thumbsup

Holy crap, I thought you were kidding when you said we could toggle the vocals on and off. I feel bad for the singer. I hope he doesn't know you've made his voice on the recordings optional.

This first song, Sail Away, is a bit too slow. In my opinion, the bongos don't really fit the sound of this song.

The second song, Evolve, is not very tight. It sounds like there are some timing issues, but it might just be because of the quality. I would probably make the bass line more interesting, so it doesn't mimic the guitar every step. The guitar solo is a bit predictable and sounds linear, if that makes sense.

Don't let my post get you down. The music you make should make you feel good, and if you like it, don't change a thing.
