A-Ri beat Miz in a good match. Miz had a really good promo backstage beforehand.

ADR just beat Big Slow in a ridiculous run of events. Slow attacked ADR during his entrance. Mark Henry came out and put Big Slow through the Spanish announce table with a World's Strongest Slam. Which was a great spot actually. Slow sold his leg injury all match, but the finish was stupid. Kane was MIA the entire time. ADR used a cross leg breaker, which was sick. Referee stopped the match since Slow couldn't defend himself.

On top of the final hour meltdown/abortion, I'd say getting as much good out of the first 122 minutes was even greater and better considering Capitol Punishment was a shit PPV schedule and concept from the start.

I think you'll get a really good PPV at MITB. Again, for the 20th time, Capitol Punishment never should have even existed. Their PPV schedule is too crammed, and this entire concept and gimmick sucked as well. Your point about getting at least two good matches in the ladder matches is dead on. Top it all off, there's literally no way you could get a worse WWE main event at MITB than tonight produced.

Here is my full review from being there:

I didnt end up getting the tickets through my work connect that i originally was offered. So i went with my roomates boyfriend (female roomate. He hadnt watched wrestling since early 2000)

Backstory every single WWE announcer crew and low stars were around me this weekend. Today i got to talk to King, (fraternity brother cool experience), Josh Matthews (Insanely little like i was bigger and i am about 5'9 170 didnt even recognize him because of how little he was) Booker, and a bunch of the TE people (a black guy that was huge and wearing Florida shit all day, and a huge white guy with terrible chops...) Alex Riley was there. Only superstar that was there that wrestled at capital punishment. He was huge huge huge.. I got to talk to DeMott for a second and told him i respected him for being the consumate worker and teaching the business to people. Also mentioned him being the first loss in goldbergs streak and he laughed it off. Nice Nice Nice guy.

The head writer of Raw was there (Gewitz?) and i didnt get to talk to him as much as i got to talk to him the last time i was there. I ended up talking to one of the camera guys at ring side for about 15 and talked to him about Ryder for about 5 minutes. He is convinced that the internet thing is a good thing. But i am not sure i believe it. He said that the people know that the fans want Ryder. In fact one of the signs in the audience during Cena and Truth was something along the line of "Someone is my Broski" Cena acknowledged it and it got on the jumbotron...

To the ppv

The Verizon center sucks.. Sucks Sucks Sucks. Took me 40 minutes to get a coke.. Terrible I missed the dark match becuase of the fact that i left at 7:20 and didnt get back but Santino got a good reaction from the pavillion.

Kofi/Ziggler- I thought was solid. I am not a kofi guy and i thought ziggler needed a push. a lot of weird pin reversals but i thought it was solid and they both worked their ass off... I have more respect for kofi after that match. They both worked it..

Miz/Riley- The whole time i knew riley was going to win but i wasnt going to admit it.. I thought it had a weak ass finish. I thought they could have gone another 5 minutes at least. I was quite shocked that miz didnt kick out of rileys finisher. (i kinda like that finisher btw) I am just afraid of what happens to Miz from here. Is this feud gonna keep on going? I mean he hasnt done anything productive winning wise it seems in like 2 months.. I do like Riley but the crowd didnt like him as much as it hated Miz... Miz is my favorite and i at least wanted to see a SCF and was upset to not see it... But at the same time i like Riley and hes good and a good put over.

BS/ADR- Best highlight of this match was the car... It was just terrible.. I mean you have to utilize ADR better than that. Worst match of the night. Yea there was a choke slam which was cool but it was jsut shitty. Show is proably the worst person to put with delrio... He cant sell a move and if you need Mark Henry to take out SHow its just stupid... A waste of ADR

Ezekiel/Wade- I went to have a smoke and search the merch people so didnt see any of this. I wanted to but a belt and they didnt have any and they were only selling the miz baseball jerseys.. I wanted the miz "im awesome shirt" i ddint buy anything tonight when i went in expecting to drop around $200

Punk/Mysterio- Punk killed it and i want to say the crowd was majority punk. Surprised punk won given his contract situation..... But was happy he did.. He needs a new finisher though.. The GTS is the worst for a major performer in the WWE... I mean i would prefer his kick to the head before the GTS... As much as i hate Rey he works a good match... Punk is awesome

RKO/Christain- Solid all around match... When Randy kicked out of the spear i knew there would be an RKO out of nowhere (he is almost like cena in that respect) but at least randy can sell moves and isnt Hul x300.. I love Orton and think he is awesome. Some Christain chants around me but they werent too big... I was happy Randy won but i was expecting a longer match and a more intense match.

Swagger/Bourne- Do people like Bourne? Why is he a face? Why is swagger jobbing to bourne. Arena completely dead... Terrible finish.. Just bad...

Cena/Truth- I got into this... I hate i mean i hate cena. But when i hear his music i stand up and throw up the Cena sign.. He might have the most catchy music ever... Anyways as soon as the match starter i was chanting cena sucks after every lets go cena... Just a shitty shitty main event. THey both cant sell a move for their life. But in the end i realized tonight why cena will hold the belt till WM28 and beyond... 90% of shirts in the audience were cena it seemed and the kids loved him and he got the biggest ovation... When Truth hit is finisher after getting to the rope i thought it was done.. But after truth hit is i asked the 9 year old next to me if we had seen the AA yet? he goes "NO!!!! JOHN CENA RULES!!!!" i knew then that cena would win... :lol :lol

3/10 with the only reason it is not better is that the person i went with was the worst person to go with ever...

This is my thought as well.

Basically, I would interpret it as the 'E saying, "We're only giving you this push because we know your contract expires soon and we really want to get you to re-sign... so we can fuck you over for longer."

this is a company that let Rock's contract expire many years ago and didn't realize it and claimed a clerical oversight and worked things out with Rock.

Remember the story that Jarrett's contract was up and they billed him for the PPV with Chyna? Jeff worked Vince for big money because they already advertised the match and Jeff said he wanted a huge raise or wasn't showing up.
