Summerslam was going to be Del Rio v Cena as the ME and probably Punk v Rey earlier in the card. This was changed right before Raw went on air. Thank God. Del Rio will be champ in the fall, though. They just released the upcoming season and the are doing a play called "The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Diety". The whole play takes place inside a wrestling ring so my brother gets to build a ring but that's not the best part. In theatre they bring in "fight coordinators" to make the on stage action look as realistic as possible. So guess who is being brought in to oversee the entire operation? Smackdown's quality is definitely better. No question. But Raw has more big time guys and talented guys (the 7 guys I just named). However Raw also has more trashy workers that get a lot of TV time every week. :shrug

The worst part about Smackdown is you might get a Divas segment or match. The rest of the show is very good and very strong every single week. As a taped show, it absolutely should be as well. Guys like Christian, Cody Rhodes, Sheamus, and Wade Barrett are the real deals. They have a deeper roster too with much better quality as well (Ezekiel Jackson, Ted DiBiase, Jinder Mahal, Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, the Usos) putting on quality matches every week.

Raw has the "live" atmosphere and the "flagship"/"A show" guys or stories. But there are just so many bad and/or boring workers such as Cena, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne, Rey Mysterio, etc. It's more painful to watch them.

Gocubs what are you expecting out of Ryder? He is young, does solid work for his experience (or lack there of against higher quality opponents), and he has a lot of upside outside the ring (I.e. Twitter/YouTube/on the mic). I don't think anyone here is advocating he get a huge push right now but he definitely has the ability to be on at least 3 out of the 4 Raw cards a month as a low card match for now (and hopefully not pertpetually being a jobber)

Really? I thought they looked sloppy, and their match time must of gotten cut. Those 4 guys had a better tag match together on Superstars a few weeks ago, and Zack/Santino carried them. New Nexus does a lot of tag moves, which is nice, but their execution is typically poor.

Otunga and McGillicutty need sent back to FCW. They need carried in every single match they're in. Usos and Gabriel/Slater have made them look so good in the past.

it wasn't a five star match by any stretch, but nothing stood out as bad and i felt it was the best they've looked from the limited times i've actually seen them. everything seemed fairly natural. i thought the two worked pretty well together and, really, did most of the work of the match.

Punk going over would further cement his character. Then have him feud with someone else up through Survivor Series, Then back to Cena feuding up to the Royal Rumble where John beats him and starts building his feud with rock into WM 28.
