I think it's a magnificent downgrade to take the belt off probably the biggest heel in their company, a veteran to said company on top of that, who not only is better on the microphone than the guy who just won it, but also a better character. I think that it makes sense. it was the last thing that Team Flair had on Team Hogan and now Team Hogan is in complete control. I think they can go a number of ways after this. they could make team hogan implode, or they could just quietly disband it and go into new storylines.

Honestly, I was getting tired of Styles having the title. I'd probably take other dudes than RVD, but now you've got RVD/Styles rematch, RVD giving Jeff a shot, etc. etc.

As long as we don't start getting to Raw's consistent flopping of titles (think Randy Orton/John Cena last year) I'm all for an occasional change.
