ok here goes: Chris (abyss) cool fucking guy drinks more rumple than I do, by far the coolest one that comes in there. Last time Lacey and Velvet sky were in Velvet stole a bottle of well vodka then busted her ass trying to make her get away. When we caught them we asked them if they took a bottle of liqour she said we don't eve like vodka (we never told them we knew it was vodka) they aint to bright. But Damnit if Lacey isn't one of the hottest chicks I've ever seen. Orlando Jordan huge douche (pretty sure he's gay). Shannon Moore is a cool dude doesn't tip real well though. Val has one of the sickest bodies I've ever seen although I think she keeps it that way by throwing a few bumps an hour up hose nostrils. Razor Ramone and the 123 kid drink more than I though humanly possible, Scott used to hit the Jack and 123 with the Patron (mixed in with some pills). I haven't seen either of them since Scotts little run in with the law. Hector Guerro is always in with Hebner, both chill guys. Jesse is also a cool guy but he thinks he's cooler than he really is. They put these guys up at the Double Tree hotel (they need to get it through their heads they aren't cool). Ric Flair is the biggest douche he thinks he runs the place he threatened a girl bartenders job after she cussed him out and he proceeded to walk behine the bar and make a huge spectacle.

Some of these nerds that come in are ridiculous, they come in everytime the wrestlers do, get their autographs and pictures taken and have them slap them in the chest. We think it's amusing minus the fact that they just drink water and don't tip and sit at my bar all night, but how many pictures and autographs can you have from the same five people.

I saw a piece of it and didn't even to think to post in here about it. My wife said the show is really bad. Only saw 1 minute of it where some girl couldn't answer anything and all of these pieces of merchandice like a TV and camera were falling off a rotating converter.

But it begs the question: If Jericho were really over as a heel and truly hated like heels were in the 70s, no way could they host a game show as a babyface. Good gig for Jericho but it shows you that heels don't cross over to the mainstream like decades ago.

Still holding out hope HBK drops by during one of our tapings of Raw since their doing two. Speaking of which anyone know how double tapings work for Raw? Show starts at 6:45. So I'm going to assume they will tape 2 Superstar matches for their portion for the 2 weeks. Then have the first Raw around 7:10 and then tape delay it for 45 minutes are so, thus not making it live to the TV audience, then tape the next one around 9 or so.

I just hope its not lame since its 2-3 weeks before Summerslam. And if I have to endure two Cena main events I will be pissed.

After Raw went off the air, WWE champion Sheamus came out and demanded John Cena come out and face him right now as Cena wasn't going to make it to the PPV. They went back and forth until Cena caught Sheamus in the STF. Sheamus was about to tap when the Nexus crew hit the ring and attacked Cena. The Raw locker room, including Randy Orton, The Usos, William Regal, The Mixz, Vladimir Kozlov and Santino Marella, among others hit the ring for the save and there was a brief brawl. It cleared out to Cena and Orton, who posed for the crowd. Cena went around ringside greeting fans to close the taping.

I would love for a Jericho TNA jump. Jericho doesn't have a WWE stigma that he carries around with him because he can pull off so many personas. I think he would be good for TNA & he is willing to help put over younger talent.

It's not so much a WWE stigma I'm worried about. It's the lack of confidence I have in any TNA caliber workers. I don't like any of them enough to bother watching Jericho put over. He's too good, in my opinion, to not be one of their top guys either. Granted, Jericho/Angle, Jericho/Sting, Jericho/Anderson, and Jericho/Styles would all be amazing, he could just as easily be stuck in something with Samoa Joe and make me want to kill myself. Heck, Jericho/Jarrett would be great, in my opinion, but I feel TNA would never bother using him correctly.

yes and no. Costs like $2.50 an issue or something but it's really cool. I usually take the summer off (or have been the past 2 years) as wrestling is dead after WM season, but re-subscribe to it in August when Summerslam comes around. MMA is covered in it as well. Covers Mexico, Japan, TNA, WWE, ROH, all leagues you can think of.

But Heyman, a guy who’s smart WAY beyond pro wrestling, wouldn’t bite. Not that it took Einstein to see that what Carter offered was insanity dipped in stupidity coated with a slick veneer of guaranteed failure.

It’s worth noting that Heyman probably wasn’t going to accept Carter’s offer no matter what. He’s busy elsewhere, most notably working behind the scenes with undisputed MMA king Brock Lesnar, helping Lesnar write his book, hone his persona and be even more marketable. Heyman also knows a sinking ship when he sees one. But Heyman listened to what Carter had to say.

Heyman wanted full control. Period. Dana White-level control was the comparison Heyman made. Above him, only sky.

Vince Russo was going to stay on as executive producer, whatever that is. Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff are valuable assets. And nobody’s going to get fired. I’m nice that way.

At this point, Heyman was running for his life.

Carter’s hidden agenda was that, at some point, Heyman would get his close pal Lesnar involved in TNA. Problem #1: The aforementioned Dana White would never let that happen. Problem #2: One reason Heyman declined Carter’s offer was because he didn’t want to even give the APPEARANCE of compromising his relationship with Lesnar by giving the impression, spoken or otherwise, that Lesnar would be associated with TNA in any way, shape or form.

Good thinking by Heyman. Heyman did take the possibility of running TNA seriously enough, however, that he contacted at least one WWE star who is coming to the end of his contract to see what his career intentions might be.

Any hope Carter had of landing Heyman, though, was rendered moot when she presented him with a working environment that resembled a Three Stooges script: Bad situation gets worse thanks to idiocy perpetrated by buffoons that just WON’T GO AWAY. Same thing that chased Jim Ross back to WWE.

It’s a shame, too.

I don’t think Heyman could elevate TNA. But it would be fun watching him try. At the very least, Heyman would make TNA more economically viable. Heyman doesn’t want stars; doesn’t NEED stars. Very few in the history of pro wrestling have been so adept at making a lot out of a little. Take that payroll, trim the fat, and develop the next Raven, Mikey Whipwreck and Tommy Dreamer. Those guys were NOTHING before Heyman. Truth be told, they’ve been nothing since.

I have few regrets about my work in wrestling, but I’m sorry I never got to work for Heyman. WCW let me go for a short period at the end of 1995, but I was hired back after pressure from Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. Heyman offered me a job in the interim, and actually flashed “Free Mark Madden” on the screen during an ECW telecast. Top man, Paul Heyman.

I don’t regret going back to WCW, because that’s where the money was. I do regret not working for Paul. I was backstage at ECW often enough to see how creative and inspirational he was. He made bingo-hall wrestling into a brand name. ‘Nuf said.

I quite often mention how stupid Dixie Carter is. Repetitive it may be, but I’m not sure it can be said often enough.

Heyman may be TNA’s last chance. Russo blew it. Hogan and Bischoff blew it. Jeff Jarrett blew it. If not Heyman, then who? The status quo certainly sucks. How could Carter possibly believe Heyman would want to swim with those sharks? How could she possibly believe that would be a reasonable working environment? Heyman wouldn’t really be in charge. Whoever Carter spoke with last would be in charge.

What a moron. No hope.
