Cmon, we all knew Taker vs. Sting and Cena vs. Rock were pipe dreams at best. However, Miz vs. Lawler was quite possible at one point. The card is shaping up fine, as long as the 10-man match has a good stipulation if it isn't a MITB match.

Even still, you have to remember that the WWE schedule isn't exactly the most pleasant schedule. I mean, we've got The Rock 2 out of 3 weeks thus far, and you gotta build the hype up for WM.

Although he may not be back in the sense of putting on the main event every Monday, I'd imagine the WWE schedule is one you have to ease back into, so I'd imagine with him calling out Cena out every week he's bound to be around frequently enough.

I think it goes beyond that. The entire Cena/Miz promo was fucking BRUTAL. Once I started talking to my casual wrestling friends about it today, they still don't really know who the Miz is as a character, and it came off looking bush league (TNA like almost).

It really is, I think they plan on using Smackdown as a platform to help build it quicker, but the thing with this feud is you know Taker is going to win. It would be a travesty if he lost (I would riot), all I want is a great 4+ star match, which both are more than capable of doing.

Read this over on Wrestle Heat. The Reported WWE WrestleMania 27 Card w/9 Matches:

WWE as of late has been talking a lot backstage regarding the undercard for this year’s WrestleMania pay-per-view. Thus far, the company has announced the major matches: the WWE World Title match featuring John Cena vs the Miz, the World Title Match featuring Edge vs Alberto Del Rio, The Undertaker vs Triple H (although the rumored streak vs career stipulation has been ruled out as of now), CM Punk vs Randy Orton, and Michael Cole vs Jerry “The King” Lawler — basically matches that have been heavily hinted over the past few months that were going to take place at the biggest WWE show of the year.

As for the undercard, there is talk that a John Morrison, Kelly Kelly and Trish Stratus vs Dolph Ziggler, Layla and Michelle McCool match-up could be in the works in a six person tag team match, which would make sense considering that Kelly and Trish were involved in an angle with Layla and Michelle McCool at the Elimination Chamber, as well as an opportunity to put Morrison and Ziggler in a major match.

In addition, there are plans for an eight man tag match featuring the Corre members taking on the team of Big Show, Kane, Kofi Kingston and Christian. There were rumors that the Corre was going to face the Nexus, but as we mentioned previously here on WrestleHeat.com, that has been ruled out right now as the Nexus is tied up with the Punk/Orton feud and will likely all be banned from appearing at the show.

Finally, Daniel Bryan is expected to face Sheamus for the United States Championship with Gail Kim in the corner of Bryan and the Bella in the corner of Sheamus, and finally, Rey Mysterio vs Cody Rhodes with the possibility of Dusty Rhodes being involved in the match somehow.

No, I watched last years, and besides the fact there was WAY too many people in the match (should be 8 or 6), it was a solid 4* match. In hindsight, Swagger getting the contract and the belt didn't pan out, but at the time it was a pretty surprising ending which made it interesting.

Cena has come out every single week for months and said how he can't wait to win the WWE Title at WM, multiple times per night. I don't think that's the cause at all.

The real problem is when Cena does win, it's going to be retarded. But if somehow Miz amazingly does in fact win, it'll be huge. Rock giving Cena (and potentially Miz) a Rock Bottom/People's Elbow variant will be bonus at that point.

If Del Rio wins, there's essentially no way they have two heel champions come out of WM. Plus a 3rd if Sheamus wins. Plus Undertaker essentially being the lesser face against H.
