ex: for the One Sweet World chord is that still considered to be A#?
Reason I want to know is because my friend hates when I play the dave style chords cause he doesn't know what they are in relations to playing a normal shaped chord. I know what they are by just sticking with the bass notes and all, but.... :confused
I know I sound stupid here, but if anyone can help me out that would be grrreat. ;)

Yes, that one is just a A# (or Bb) chord.
The notes being played at Bb, Bb (octave higher) and D (the third in relation to Bb)

It's the same thing as a major A#, only missing the fifth. Dave's not a big fan of the fifth in many of his "dave chords"

Not in chords, but lsome of his other songs use fifths.
Off hand I can think of #34, Raven, Warehouse, and Satellite. Oh, Sugar Will, too.

Yeah, from my experience, most musicians get umcomfortable with DMB stuff because of chord confusion. His chords really are a thing of beauty once you figure them out.
