JTR
Crash, The Stone, Warehouse, and Crazy (Captain) wear my muscles out.

Tripping Billies, without a doubt.
FYI--Proudest Monkey is the easiest song I've ever played.

This is probably a thread better suited for the Musician's forum, but oh well! ;)
For me, I still struggle with good ol Sattelite. The verse cramps up my hand pretty bad. Other than that, I used to have trouble playing Trippin Billies. DMB is pretty tough, in general, to play, but it's like anything else - if you practice it enough, you'll pick it up.

I love playing Satellite. It took me about a month to learn the little riff but after that I play it flawlessly everytime. It's so much fun.

I'm having trouble putting Billies together. Also JTR. FTT is difficult to sing along with and play because of the rhythm. I'm also assuming YNk is quite difficult, but haven't attempted it because of the tuning (raised B).

warehouse is pretty tough to perfect, along with crash. It seems everyone and their brother plays crash, but I rarely hear it played correctly.

I've been playing for a while and have them all down and cant wait to tackle the new stuff but I play and watch people play a ton of DMB covers and Billies, even though many people can play it, is one that people have a really hard time perfecting

JTR actually isnt' too bad, stone is difficult just in the transition from the G Chord back to the picking. Warehouse, agreed, is difficult. and so is Captain cause of the long stretches.
I do, however, believe crash to be a fairly easy song to play.
I haven't really practiced a lot at satellite so i can't say for sure.
But overall, i'll agree with other people in that Billies is the hardest to play.

laugh at me if you wish but i have a real hard time singing and playing lover lay down, just a very unconventional sort of rythm but i am sure with practice it is much easier...also, two step can be real tough in terms of getting srumming down and it hurts my hand even with all the changes since the chords have a very similar shape throughout

Dude you totally reminded me of a wicked cool riff I play when I jam out 2 Step. You know how it's pretty much in Dm? Well for the intro, I usually pick or strum the Dm chord while playing the bass notes on the appropriate frets (you guys know what I mean - move the notes back 5 frets and down a string!). It sounds GREAT when played on acoustic, obviously. Let me know what you guys think! Sorry for being so vague!
But yeah, Sattelite still kicks my ass after 9 years! Oh well! It just cramps up, that's all. As far as WH and Crash goes, though, I totally have them down! 100%! :D

Wow I'm retarded. I also meant to give some advice to DMB66!
For LLD, have you tried plucking vice strumming? Yes, the beat/rhythm is off, but I've found that if you pick the notes, you'll have a better time w/ the rhythm.

If you tap your foot throughout LLD, it make it 100 times easier. If you watch Dave play, he does the same thing, sorta. He more bounces on one leg to keep the feel of the beat going. It helps a lot. Still, though, you have to be able to play the guitar riff without any thinking at all, so you can focus on the lyrics and vocal rhythms.

watching the man play a song period can make a huge difference...
I never really learned Dancing Nancies the right way until I saw a D+T vid of it.

I play and sing The Stone and I agree that the first double hit on the D string 5th fret after the G chord is the hardest part of the song. Once your hand has the rhythm down pat singing on top is not too difficult. It is still a hard song to play flawlessly.
Warehouse is a very difficult song, the mutings more than anything else.
Crash Into Me is not a difficult song to play, it just cramps up about half way through the song. Even Dave quite often plays the last two verses without the bottom two strings, especially full band.
Captain is a bit of a bugger to continually stretch to as well.
One of the songs that I find hard to wrap around if I don't play it very consistently is Busted Stuff. Those quick chord changes are a real fucker.

Don't know if it matters to y'all, in fact it probably doesn't, but I've seen this posted twice and wanted to let you guys know it is a G chord but its a G minor. Like I said it probably does not matter, but just in case somebody wanted to know.

For me it's Billies, Sat., and Busted Stuff. I have a hard time making the stretch for the intro of Billies. It's getting better, but I still struggle. If anyone has any advice (other than practice) for Sat let me hear it. I just can't get it to sound perfect.
My favorite songs to play are Ants and Recently. Both took some practice but once you get them down they're a lot of fun. I Did It is also a fun song to play.
