I'd really appreciate it if some of you gave me some feedback about my band.
We just got some new songs up and we're selling out the hard rock in Hollywood. Really great stuff. I would love to hear from you guys, my fellow DMB lovers. our site is www.Figureone.net and you can listen to us from there. Thanks a lot!!!!

thanks for responding! You know how hard it is for people to listen to new stuff? We don't have a cd yet, to get a good one done you have to spend a good amount of money no matter what anyone says. But we're slowly releasing stuff.
I am sure we'll have one done soon. Are you from around southern Cali? If so you should come to one of our shows...

looks good. I would recommend rewriting the band bio. It sounds like you guys are shooting high and going for professionalism (sp?). Have someone that is a little more trained in writing scribble out a bio for you... I just don't think it matches the standards it looks like you are trying to reach.

that's a good idea, thanks. Can anyone also let me know what you think of the songs that are on the site? You can find some on the home page as well as the media section. thanks.

I'm listening to underground right now, you guys are awesome, you guys should tour in the ND area, like that's gonna happen. Can't wait for the cd!

thank you! It's really great to hear good stuff. Especially as a musician when the whole process can be so daunting it's good to know you're stuff is actually worth something in other peoples eyes and not just yours. Trust me we'd love to come and tour your area. Hopefully we'll make it there one day. As you can tell we're actually trying to get something serious going and not just another local project. Thanks for the support. We'll have other songs up there soon so keep checking and also sign up for our mailing list. I'd love to keep talking to you or anyone else who is interested in us. Thanks a bunch!
Peace

yo i agree, you guys are amazing, i personally thought that your song "underground" is unbelievable! whoever the sings is amazing. anyways, you guys are the next radiohead or oasis, when do you guys perform, i'd love to see you guys. And just for some constructive criticism... some of the songs you wrote are a little popish and cliche, but you guys are still good, you guys should keep heading in the direction of your song underground.

thanks for the great words you guys have to say. Are there any of you in the Southern California area? Probably not huh? Well if not that's okay, we want to spread. So tell your friends. On the whole cliche songs thing, you're probably talking about Countdown...well you should see it live. Plus, sometimes you have to make the cheese to make the dough....as horrible as that sounds. Seriously, we used to have a song called No Direction which was the cheesiest thing you could think of but the audience loved it. And i still get asked to play it. But i hate it. I hate it so much. Even though it could be a huge hit. I'm an idiot. So i made a decision not to make that mistake with Figureone. Not like you guys care. I just wanted to give you a little inside. It's funny when fans love a song that the writer simply hates.

peace,
Ori

Underground is very nice...I know people don't like comparisons sometimes but had a little bit of Radiohead influence. Or at least I think so. But again very very solid.

comparisons are fine. Every band has their influences. Back in the day i'm sure someone was telling Thom York that his band sounds like a mix of the clash with some of The Cure mixed in....get my drift? But thanks for the good word.
