Howdy,

I had posted that I was looking for Monte-tabs, which no-one seemed to have. My search however bore fruits; I found an old version (through Waybackarchive at archive.org) of a MM tab page. So, I have a plethora (23) of tabs for Monte songs. Anyone interested, drop me a line, and I am more than happy to send them out.

Maybe this inspires others to produce more tabs, since several really cool songs are still lacking tabs :-)

Cheers.

Wow, I didn't know anyone outside of Texas still listened to Monte. He's a MF'er on the acoustic. I've actually had the pleasure of running sound for him a couple years ago. I used to be a huge Montiac. Good luck tabbing Monte's songs.... his index-pinky reach is like 6 frets. It's insane. Sorry I don't have any tabs to offer (though my roommate once tabbed one of this songs out years ago... took him 4 hours. I forget what song). Anyway, just wanted to say hey to fellow Monte fans.

I hope I did not convey even slightly that I might be able to do any tabbing... :-)

You mean you don't want to try and tab out Monte tunes?? :lol yeah you definately have to have a program that allows you to slow down a song more than half speed. Not to mention he uses quite a few alternate tunings. I used to go to his shows all the time, but it got to be that the setlists and even the solos were the same show after show. So I decided to just stop going. But I'd like to catch a show sometime soon. I think it'd be fun to see him again.
