Watchtower Intro

I realize it's the same chords (Am, G, F) that are in the kind of improvised intro that dave has played to All Along the Watchtower (like on the central park album). I simply cannot figure out how he plays it. I really love the sound of it. Has anyone figured out how to play it? (I am referring to the part he plays at central park right after stefan finishes playing the national anthem, and right before he starts singing.) Thanks so much.

PS If Dave comes to Red Rocks this summer, it will be simply amazing.

practice, listen, and more practice. its not too tough

I think for most of the finger picking he does for the intro he's using the barre form of the chords.

Sometimes on the G and F he will start off with the minor form then hammer on to make it the major chord.

For cp he's pretty much using the same chords as he does for the chorus of everyday.
practice that hammer on first and try to figure it out yourself....
