I think you need to be more specific or give a date. What you see on every site is Warehouse, as it has always been played. It is, perhaps, a perception issue, or a misunderstanding of what your use of "strummed" means? Those are strummed Warehouse tabs, as people generally understand the term "strummed." You aren't supposed to pick those individual notes, but strum all the strings, muting the ones you don't want to ring. Is that the problem?

i think they are asking about the "passion intro" chords and strumming pattern

i think they are asking about the "passion intro" chords and strumming pattern
If its the passion intro, you just strum
E:-x
B:-x
G:-x
D:-9h11
A:-9
E:-7
Once you get going with the song after a crazy intro then kick into the stop time and verse parts of the song:
E:-----------------------------------------------
B:-x--x--x--x-x-x--x-x-x----x--x--x--x-x-x--x-x--
G:-x--x--x--7-x-x--x-x-x----x--x--x--7-x-x--x-x--
D:-x--x--11---9-x--x-x-x----x--x--11---9-x--x-x--
A:-x--9---------10-x-x-x----x--9---------10-9-7--
E:-7---------------x-x-x----7--------------------
1 2 4 1 2 3 1 2 4 1 2 3 2 1
Is there a specific date your talking about??

Is there a different way he plays it? I don't think I've ever heard one. He just strums those notes and mutes the rest of the strings. no chords in that tune.
