I liked it a lot from the first listen, i havent stopped since :) but even though carter isnt as prevalent as other songs he is still there. i think there can be too much percussion but DMB always seems to know what is just right. Which they knew for this song as well. I love it!

Do you honestly think that with the 8 clips we've heard so far that they purposely selected the 45 sec. of ea. of those songs were Carter doesn't play the way we know him to play? Come on now! I think it's safe to say, even though we've only heard clips, that Carter is extremely low-key on this album. An intro and an ending to 1 song is not enough for me to like an album.

After I heard a few clips, I thought it's possible the rest of the song could feature some good drums. But clip after clip with a drum-machine sound leaves little hope.

What i find interesting is that with every clip being releasing, DMB sounds more and more like their roots-- (relatively speaking)---but with more of a simplified sound.
I really like this stuff! And the more that gets released, the more of a hopeful I become.
I DO miss the intricacy of their melodies though, and the jumps in pitch that were so distinct to the band.

Impressed, nevertheless! And who knows what the rest of the songs will sound like!

He was essentially saying that Peter Greisar was the only member of the band in the early 90's.
