im only halfway into LB at this point, so i cant totally judge the whole album, but im loving it right now. hello again is the only problem at all, the way it cuts out, but i already know how awesome it is live, so thats just fine. if it was 9 minutes on the album, it'd be hard to come out of it back to the rest of the album. it's already like this weird diversion.

Louisian BAyou is the fucking shit. I like this album a lot, wont be long til I fucking love it, lots of songs on hear on think are gonna be some jammin live tunes. Cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is summer here yet?

Just because you do not like the new album does not mean the poll is stupid. The results (as opposed to the general consensus from the clips) is very positive.

I voted for "potential to be the best," because I honsetly think it has the potential . . . but I don't think it's quite comparable to any other album because it's so vastly different. it's no better than BTCS, and it's no worse. they're totally different albums, and they're both very, very good

the poll assumes that btcs is their best album, followed closely by uttad and crash, and that everyday is their worst. it's based on HIS opinion of previous albums, hence, it's stupid

Not trying to be negative, but this is typical, a new cd comes out and everyone loves it. Give it a few days before you praise it as being so great. So far, I think it's a split album, there are 3 or 4 songs which have a lotta potential: Smooth Rider, Stolen Away, eh.....maybe Dream Girl. Then there's Hello Again which we know is good in concert, and Louisiana Bayou which has potential to be one of the great ones. So from the inital listen, I think Hello Again and LB might come out of this cd as being put down beside songs like Jimi Thing, Ants Marching, Two Step, etc. , well maybe.......

Oh, and if Smooth Rider evolves a bit more, well hell, as it is right now, could be a great great song. Not just compared to all DMB songs post BTCS, but all time. It just sounds like it has so much potential, it's a simple song, the music, the lyrics, but very good.

The cd is starting to grow on me. But still, some songs i.e. Everybody Wake Up and Dream Girl are just not good.

good point im just reading all the negative posts while listening to the album. some of these songs are so different I love the Hip Hop style. How good is louisana bayou (spelling) gonna be live??? im just picturing the crowd in my head. Its gonna be a good tour. :multi

I agree with you cause everyone has a different opinion on what the best album is, I'd have to go with Crash as being the best album and Stand Up as the worst, but I don't think that Everyday is a bad album like everyone else says it is. What You Are turned into a bad ass live tune. I think that since they experimented and tryed something different that everyone was all pissed and didn't like Everyday, but by the time they went to record Stand Up people were more open to the change and expect the album to sound different and not like the first few. I just hope that they can do something with these songs on the new disk to make them sound good live, cause there are only a few good songs on the CD in my opinion and it is just to boring and overproduced. Hello Again really lost alot going to the studio, just listen to the live version on the best buy site, it's amazing.

I like this album, not my favorite, but i wouldn't call it bad. By the poll I think it is generally accepted as being good, but just seems to be a lot of negative posts about it, i just want to have the cd so i can listen to it in good quality,

I respect everyone's opinion that enjoys what they are hearing...I can't stand it.

I know I will get flamed for this, but I like everyday better (I am much of a fan of that album though).

I found every song on STAND UP to be incredibly boring. One of the greatest things about Carter's drumming is his dynamics, of which there is none on this album in a drummkng sense.

Maybe it will grow on me, I really hope.
