Since this forum is for craziness...

My big debate for yall is which of these two songs would you want to be the next/3rd single?

Everybody Wake Up

or

Louisiana Bayou

PS. Out Of My Hands is classic

It should be Stand Up. But it'll probably be Wake Up.

Hmmm. Stand Up does have some things going for it. Album name, it's in the single slot on the album, catchy, blah blah... But it seems more built for a live setting than the airwaves to me.

3'rd single should be "Hunger for the great light" or "Louisana Bayou".

I think that's the sticking point, it has no real home on any format. Maybe some indie stations would play it, but that's about it.

I do think they did a nice job with Hello Again in the studio, but it's really obvious why they left off all the other summer 2004 tunes now. If last summer's fan favorite is considered a middle of the pack song on Stand Up, where would Joy Ride or Crazy Easy come in?

I still kind of think Joy Ride was more deserving of an album slot than American Baby, but I guess they really thought that it made a good single, which appearantly it has been. I don't really see Crazy Easy and Sugar Will on this album, and I am fine with that as long as we get a sdbd Crazy Easy at some point...

It should be Stand Up.

:thumbsup agreed, that would be my pick. But out of the two choices i woul like to see Louisana Bayou picked over Wake Up.

for the poll i would say wake up because i love bayou so much and im greedy so i dont want any stupid teeny-boppers getting a hold of this one :)

my vote goes for hunger for the great light. that song just kicks ass! can't wait for this song to explode even more live. but between the two, wake up sounds like a good choice.

I would say Hello Again might work (it's not quite country...it has an edge to it). Nobody thought Gravedigger would be good single material, but it ended up doing very well. I'd have to go with Bayou from the choices.
