I hate to make another thread in this free for all of a forum, but I'd like to bring up something I haven't seen many people talking about/excited about yet.

Let's not forget that we know about 20+ songs have been written/practiced/rough cut for this album. In several interviews, when the band members were asked about the possibility of hearing these songs that didn't make the album live, the overwhemling response was "Oh, most definately."

So for those of you that don't like what you hear on Stand Up, ther are still perhaps 7+ songs out there that we have a good chance of hearing live this summer, so stay optimistic. I know i'm dying out of curiosity myself...

I'm guessing that a few of the extra songs that you mention are Sugar Will, Crazy-Easy, and Good Good Time. But even still, it'd be nice to have them back and hear a few others.

I still can't believe that Sugar Will didn't make the album. Well maybe not after hearing the album b/c the song just doesn't fit but Sugar Will is better than most of SU im my humble opinion.

yeah it doesn't quite fit the album, however they could always use it for another album..

I think they actually came up with about 20 new original songs BESIDES these songs that they had been playing for a while.

i want to hear the boyd song live! haha

id like good good time to be a purely live song liek granny, only b/c i like how they lyrics change so much, its fun (although i still like the orginal opening verse ending : youll have to kill me here, because tonight im with my friends)

crazy-easy was amazing, that would be like a classic, i hope whatever the Act I in the title means, means there will be an Act II, and be the rest of what they made

I think we're better of with cRAZY eAsy and GGT remaining live staples and not being recorded, as you have said.

I love how people who have opinions that arent sycophantic to the band are haters.

mentioned this in another thread... perhaps what they left off was what they wrote b4 batson came on board (example: the song boyd sang song), and they felt they had a different feel than what batson wanted (what made made the album)... maybe they will reappear someday

I'd love to hear GGT this summer

I would have loved to have that on the bonus disc instead of Typical, Crash or Recently.
