I hate sleeping alone. But it's definitely a good thing that I left Kristen's place.
Tonight was the only night that I have ever turned down any non-kissing sexual activity. I am kicking myself on the one hand, but on the other hand I'm glad that I had the self control because I don't want it to be me just going over there to get some ass. We are terrible for each other in that while we both agree that we shouldn't let things get too physical all the time right now, we both like to try and excite each other and make each other be bad and give in.
This evening, she admitted that she has the same problem that I do, in that she gets attached quite quickly. That's not necessarily a bad thing since I am very attracted to her and she is to me and I have had a great time spending time with her. I am just glad that she ahd the balls to come over and sit at our table that night at Ohm. However, I think that she is already scared that I am going to break her heart. At one point tonight she was looking off into space and I asked her what was up and she said that she was thinking about a song. And I asked her what it was and she said it was by Jack Johnson and that she couldn't remember the name but that it started with a C and then she said a couple of the lyrics. So of course when I got in the car and grabbed my iPod and went right to Cocoon. It was definitely the song. I'm not sure what to think about that.
I was also thinking earlier today, it's almost been exactly 6 months since Becca and I broke up. It really doesn't seem like a half a year has passed since we were together. Sorry, these are just some random musings before I go to sleep.

Like I said before and I said to her, it's not that I think that anything would be wrong. It would just be the wrong time. I can find a lot of people to have a one night stand with, I don't want to start going over to Kristen's to just make out/sleep with her. I'm attracted to her on multiple levels and I want to see if we can establish a good relationship as well as have a little fun.

Talkin' to myself and feelin' old
Sometimes I'd like to quit
Nothing ever seems to fit
Hangin' around
Nothing to do but frown
Rainy days and Mondays always get me down
What I've got they used to call the blues
Nothin' is really wrong
Feelin' like I don't belong
Walkin' around
Some kind of lonely clown
Rainy days and Mondays always get me down
Funny but it seems I always wind up here with you
Nice to know somebody loves me
Funny but it seems that it's the only thing to do
Run and find the one who loves me
What I feel has come and gone before
No need to talk it out
We know what it s all about
Hangin' around
Nothin' to do but frown
Rainy days and Mondays always get me down

So, I'm trying to get a hold of this girl from Friday night. I've got three ideas. First would be to email my friend who is her roomate and just ask. Two, I think, although I'm only about 70% sure cause I don't remeber her last name, I have her email from a prior email from her roomate. Third, I could just wait and see if she calls me cause she took my number. I'm leaning to the first option. Damn, I haven't stalked a girl in email in a while, I've forgotten how to do it. :lol

Oh, this is the start of something good
Don't you agree?
I haven't felt like this in so many moons
You know what I mean?
And we can build through this destruction
As we are standing on our feet
So since you want to be with me
You'll have to follow through
With every word you say
And I, all I really want is you
For you to stick around
I'll see you everyday
But you have to follow through
You have to follow through
These reeling emotions they just keep me alive
They keep me in tune
Oh, look what I‘m holding here in my fire
This is for you
Am I too obvious to preach it
You're so hypnotic on my heart
So since you want to be with me
You'll have to follow through
With every word you say
And I, all I really want is you
For you to stick around
I'll see you everyday
But you have to follow through
You have to follow through
The words you say to me are unlike anything
That's ever been said
And what you do to me is unlike anything
That's ever been
Am I too obvious to preach it
You're so hypnotic on my heart
So since you want to be with me
You'll have to follow through
With every word you say
And I, all I really want is you
For you to stick around
I'll see you everyday
So since you want to be with me
You'll have to follow through
With every word you say
And I, all I really want is you
For you to stick around

You're gonna have to follow

I know want to answer her call. I'm still not sure why I didn't get hers. We were in her bedroom and she asked for mine, but drunk ass me didn't ask for hers. Control wise, I don't really care. She's out of town for weeks at a time with work so obviously her time can be limited so that is why I think I need to step up and not let things happen slowly cause that could be problematic.
Yeah, I'll just email her roomate. Since I'm pretty good friends with her, I'm sure she'll give me a little nudge in the right direction if I should try to contact her roomate or if I'm being an idiot. I'm sure she had to tell her something of what she thought of me the next day.

Absolutely. Everything can be used to your advantage. It's just a matter of having the intel to know all angles of what is going on. Once you know what is going on from all angles you can better take what it is that you are given and use it to your advantage. And if this sounds like war, it's because it is.

Well... not being a Santos fan is jading my perspective of it. Personally, I hope they have Vinnick win. It would be the best move for the show.
I don't like how they are making Leo look like some feeble old man who can't really do it himself. Between the two candidates on the ballot, Leo is the smarter of the two, and quite frankly, the better politician.
But let's be honest... even a mediocre West Wing is better than 90% of the shit on TV.

Productive day in email. I think my plan is working well. First time for everything I guess. The roomate of the girl who I'm trying to get to know better wants to hang out Friday so that's a good way to get some info. Although, it came to my attention that I may have screwed up the other night. I confirmed that a guy stayed at her house with her, the roomate that is. Apparently she doesn't want anyone to know, but I doubt she can get mad at me cause it wasn't like I was telling people just confirmed that he was there. Didn't say where he slept so I can always say he was on the other couch. Damn those Balck and tan and carbombs must be the key to my "vault".

Not a Santos fan... and you have Santos/McGarry 05 as your tagline? ;)
Do you have any idea how many episodes John Spencer signed for? I wonder if that could have something to do with it.
And you're right, even a less-than-great TWW is better than most of what's out there...

Definitely. But dangerous at the same time.

Yeah. I was counting down/getting my hopes up, only to have them quickly deflated.

Nice! A lot of choices. I love my job and my line of work, but the only problem is that my choices of where to live is very limited.....Actually, its just limited to LA.
Options are nice. But I'm falling into the trap of paralysis by analysis.

If it wasn't Leo on the ticket Alan Alda would be staring at you from my avatar. Leo has earned the spot... regardless of who's at the top of the ballot.

Next week's episode should be interesting, because it will really be the first we see of the Vinick campaign this season, other than a soundbite.

No, Julie made this drawing, "I'm a puppy for your love," for her boyfriend, dmbATL99. He posted it in the thread. Started a firestorm :) It's still there, if you want to find it.
What's the thread about two girls in the shower???

Just got back to the apartment from the office. Need to clean it up since it smells like champagne and scrambled eggs... the remnants of Saturday's pre-tailgate fiesta.
Gotta run a Hall Council meeting tonight and then it's Laguna. And yes... I'm embarrassed to say I watch it.

Hmmmmm...Perhaps I will. In order for that to happen, though, I need to stop downloading so much live music, which is free. I don't know when I'll ever get off this DMB/Xavier Rudd/Phish kick. I spend all of my resoureces downloading their music.
