Hey ya'll,

I would like to get some unbiased opinions on the Tripping Billie intro. I will be playing this song Saturday night as part of my setlist and was wondering if anybody can tell me how my intro sounds. I've got the verse & chorus down pat but the intro is sounding funny to me. I can't pick out what it is. Anyway, Im playing at a local bar which means that only DMB fans will know if Im playing it 100% correctly, so Im not too worried about it. I just cant figure out what is wrong.

Thanks in advance

When you slide up the the 7xx7xx, you're playing that for one beat too long and you're losing your rhythm.

You need to be more deliberate with your right hand and throw in some accents and dynamics. It sounds very one dimensional right now and like your really not sure what
you want to do with the music (same with the part after nature). Try to feel it a bit more.
Listen to and play along with L@LC.
Sing with the intro, your vocal inflections will automaticly make your
guitar playing "sing" as well.

Good luck with your gig!

Thanks all. If anybody is so talented, especially the ones who commented, could you post a version of how you play it?

I have a gig tonite, tomorrow afternoon, and nite. The earliest I can get to it would be sunday afternoon if you still want it by then. lmk
