Hello all! Newbie here! I too was at the show last night! Second row! I was off to the side of the stage and ended up standing against the rail all night. I was sitting next to a tapper. He told me I would be able to download the show from this site but it will be sometime next week. Hope this helps!

Damn, Dreaming Tree doesn't like me! I forget, what do you have to do to be able to download new shows quickly? As when I attempt to now (I use Shareaza to download torrents) I get a message saying tracker down, and it says the Port (6346) is blacklisted. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

To anyone who has both sources, which sounds better, Crumbo's or Chris's?
Rand0mRoll77
07-27-2005, 04:28 AM
i would imagine crumbo's sounds better because the akg's and v3 are much more "high end" than at853s which are somewhat geared towards steathling/beginer tapers....although if you phantom power the at853s you will get much better results but in chris' case i dont think the at853s were phantom powered since a spsb-6(if im not mistaken this is a 9v battery box) was in use, im assuming he just used the ad-20 as a preamp/ad converter
hey crumbo were you the guy that let me borrow a jb3 battery like last year or something....if you are im terribly sorry about being a slacker in getting that back to you
again it also matters alot about the location of the taper but I have crumbo's tape and i think it sounds superb....i am anxious to hear mike sarnovskys tape...i hear he was really close to the stacks butthat might sacrifice the stereo image (which is somewhat present on crumbos tape)

are you still seeding the show over at dreamingtree?
if not, just stop the torrent delete that track and delete d2t4 and start the torrent up again.
if you've already converted the files from .flac to .wav..open the torrent again with your bit torrent software and deselect all files except d2t4 and start the torrent and all it will download is that one file

Is anyone willing to make me a copy of both N1 & N2 at Alpine Valley from 2005 on disc and then trade for some shows that I have? Ya know, the old fashioned way through snail mail. If so, please send me a private message.
Thanks,

This was my 2nd Dave show. My 1st was in 1999 in Concord CA. I was wondering how to download this show b/c it was awesome. There was someone taping in the row in front of me, but I was unable to get a contact for a copy, etc... Can someone help me out with a download?

Crumbo's recording is sweetness! Just enough crowd noise to please, but not too much to drown out the music. Great show & an even better recording.

Excellent!!! Great mix of just enough crowd noise to get the concert effect, but not enough do drown out the band. Definitely worth downloading.
