Did anyone see the two guys in the front get dragged out by security right towards the end of What You Are? It looked like the one guy just took a picture with his phone and then security took him and his friend somewhere. What's that about?

I'm actually the guy that got assualted by the workers there. I am currently investigating to pursue legal action. I was at Leroi's end of section 102 third row. There were actually two tapers two rows behind me who I'm hoping might have caught what was said between me and the worker. If anyone else saw, heard or knows anything about this, please let me know. I would also appreciate if you could ask around for me as well. I joined this site because I saw that the incident was brought up but I don't know of any other sites. If you could ask around and get some witnesses for me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance for your help.

^^ I am having a hard time believing that they dragged you out for no reason. I'm guessing you were somehow in the wrong. Maybe other people got away with whatever you were doing, and they picked on you, but even so.

I never claimed that I didn't do anything. I took my phone out and was taking a 15 second video clip. It obviously escalated from there but I don't want to say exactly what happened because I want to make sure that whoever claims that they have some information actually know what they are talking about

Accept some responsibility. And since you've already admitted on a public message board that you were violating the terms of the ticket (as well as being a putz for having your cell phone out at a concert), your "lawsuit" isn't going anywhere.

Accept some responsibility. And since you've already admitted on a public message board that you were violating the terms of the ticket (as well as being a putz for having your cell phone out at a concert), your "lawsuit" isn't going anywhere.

I admit to having my cell phone out, but that doesn't mean that I deserved to be assaulted. I'm not claiming that they were in the wrong for kicking me out, but they grabbed me and my dad and dragged us to the security area. They used unneccesary force as neither of us were posing a threat or resisting in any way. I would just like some help with my investigation. If, after my research, it's concluded that I was just "being a putz" then I learned my lesson. However, if it's determined that these guys were out of line, then I want to make sure that it doesn't happen to someone else. I had my phone out but they also assaulted my 54 yr old dad who has bruises to show for it. Please just help me if you have any info.

The tapers who released the source in the post a little before this one were the guys who were sitting two rows behind me. If anyone can contact them and see if they know anything I would greatly appreciate it.

i saw them tell you to stop, you shrugged it off told them you weren't doing it. their team leader, about 1/4 the size of you came over and told you that you needed to leave. your dad laughed in his face. i saw him try to get you to leave and you just kept dancing. he kept telling you to leave, you pointed in his face and said something to the tone of "fuck you, you fucking motherfucker" and then you started to go after him. he tried for probably 5-7 minutes to get you to go with him and you refused.

3 security guards jumped the fence and then proceeded to DRAG you out cause you were flailing and yelling. he asked you to go with him repeatedly, you went and almost assaulted him. and you aren't a little guy either, probably about 6' 3" and around 200-250 lbs, maybe a little heavier. all i know is that you could have easily kicked the shite out of anyone of their security guards.

i don't think you really have much justificiation since you went at the security team leader like you were going to hit him after he ONLY did his job. there is no way that he could have hurt you. he was probably 5' 8" and MAYBE 135 lbs. :lol

you can think i'm lying, but i'm an honest guy and i had not been drinking during the show it all. he asked you to leave and you flipped out, while your dad laughed at them.

i'm not responding anymore, so don't contact me. i just want people to know exactly what i saw from my vantage point.

Hi, people....

I was at this show, and loved it. It was my first DMB show since Alpine in '99. Dave and the band rocked... I am very disappointed on another front, however. I was stuck for far too long at home in Madison the day of the concert. So, I arrived at Alpine and got to my seats JUST as Dave was coming out onto the stage.

Long story short.... I missed OAR, and I was really looking forward to seeing them as the opening act. Does anyone know where I can get OAR's portion of the show?

Thanks much!

Hey,

Were you the guy that the young kid staff member was trying to drag out of the show I saw him put his finger in your chest and then you got a little upset. I can't blame you. He had no business touching you. I saw a little bit. I don't know if that was you or what.....Were you wearing a white shirt? I was in section 103 row C

Later

Now I'm just confused. Can anyone give me more info? I'd also like some feedback from other people to hear what they think. Thank you for your input.

Wow, nice recording. Yup, that is a teaser so could you hook a brother up? I am always game for trading, but I'm sure you already have more shows than I. Do you have Sunday's too? I would appreciate it ten fold. These were some of the best Dave shows I have seen and I've been to quite a few. The setlists were amazing. Dunno if you saw us at the Yellow lot but we were the only guys manning our EZ-Up to brave the wind and storm. We didn't wanna have to sit in our cars. It was like the perfect storm trying to man the helms of the EZ-Up...hehehe.

Hey geppson,

Sorry, it was a long weekend. That .mp3 teaser you posted was from Sunday's show. Ay carumba. Anyway, with camping in the heat and the massive consumption of alcohol, I maybe got a max of 8hrs of sleep the whole entire weekend. So, i should be saying do you have Saturday's show as well as Sunday's? I would appreciate it.

Great job Crumbo, from what I've heard so far it sounds great and incredible how quickly you got them out!

I was also wondering if anyone could hook up with the d1t01 and d1t02 .flac, I have lost them and need those two to complete the show, if someone could e-mail them to me or send them over AIM that would be awesome, thanks a bunch!

Ouch, funniest thing I've seen in a long time. :twak Those security guards each probably tell 100 people a show to put cameras away, common sense dictates that they're not going to escalate the situation without any prodding. I'd again recommend that you (and apparently your father too) grow up, accept that you were acting dumb, :monkey and move on. :lorraine
