Man, after seeing that setlist I definitely would love to have this show. Really looking forward to it.
By the way, how will this show be circulated? Will it be posted as links to .flac or whatever on the forums, or just on sites like dreamingtree.org. For some reason, I could never get signed up at dreamingtree, it never sent me an email :(

If someone could do me the hugest favour and get Stolen Away up on here. My Flac decode stuff doesn't work so I won't be able to download the show. So if I could get Stolen away off someone... Oh man, that would make my whole week. I've been jiving to hear that song live since I got the Album. (Listen to Stolen Away right now actually) It would be a huge help folks. Thanks.

I went to the Indy show last year and thought it was good, but I went to the show last night and it was totally amazing. The crowd was on fire, and the band was soaking that up. It was definitely not a traditional show, with So Much to Say w/ out the bridge to Too Much, and then the appearance of Seek Up. I cannot wait to get ahold of this show, a truly amazing performance!
Also, there was plenty of crazy Dave speak throughout, and it was raining at the beginning and he said something like "Thank you for joining us on this precipitated evening" I started laughing so hard.

In due time, sources of this show will get posted over at dreamingtree and etree via bit torrent. You should try and sign up again via dreamingtree and if it doesn't work, maybe Gary can help you out, he's a mod over there.

Joeyfines review of Polairs Amp.
June 8th 2005
~Driving
ok its been a while since i've been down to c-bus and i must say I-71 has imporved greatly! the constuction is gone and it was easy to get into Polairs without a hitch
~tailgating
Not happening... i crack open a beer and it was like a bomb went off. everyone told me to dump it! i couldnt believe what just happen. maybe it was the paved lots, i was in B so that was a no go
~Food
if starlake is olive garden of concert food then Polairs is Mr.hero, not enough food and too much money, a hotdog value meal was 4.50 it included a crappy hot dog, {not like the delicous footlog with chili, cheese, and onion i got at SL} a small bag a chips and a pop. booo
~Scare of the night, walking with my g/f back to our seats with the food and drinks a nice bolt of lightning blast the back side of polaris, scaring her enough to throw her drink onto my head
~RRFB
Since i saw them sunday i thought i knew what i was getting. man was i wrong, these guys can make anyone want to dance. the best part of their show is when they had one of the fans come up and jam with them. they gave him a guitar and let him go.. he was damn good too. it just set up for another excellent evening.
~Side Note, once again i checked TM before leaving to see seats left. there were alot butttt once i got to the show i couldnt believe my eyes... a full house, if you guys were there then you know what im talking about. i just hope they we're a enegetic crowd
~ Dave Matthews Band
So Much To Say ~ Not a bad opener, the crowd seem to like it. i was thinking grey street but this is a good song for everyone to warm up to.
#41 ~ Hello Fresh song. once this one start everyone was rockin with it. its been a while since i've heard this one live and i must say i missed it. LeRoi was the king of this song and pretty much the whole night. everyday outro was damn good too
Dreamgirl ~ If you've been to a show this year then its prolly surpised you how fast these new songs have caught on with the all of us..dreamgirl is no exception. its the new love song. IMO this version was funkier then the one i heard sunday @ SL
Grey Street ~ Hello explosiveness, this song blew the top off the place! everyone singing and dancing except the 5 people in front of me who didnt even stand, stupid high school kids with no love for the music. they jammed this to prefection with Roi leading the way again. if any of you love LeRoi Moore i would suggest downloading this whole concert. it felt like a night for him to shine.
American Baby ~ first time i've heard this live and its amazing, i live boyds into plucking the violin, the crowd echos daves echo in the song which rocks, and the jams are nuts too. this Cd is beauty and when you go to a show you'll see it too.
One Sweet World ~ nice change of pace, i've heard this one on sunday also and i thought it was better there. people we're singing and stuff but this is one of those songs i wouldnt mind seeing put on the shelf for a while. although LeRoi did make this sound wonderful.. im telling you its his night
Hello Again ~ once again i will say that carter owns the drums. i told everyone in my section, {E row N} wait for carter at the end to cut loose and blow you all away. sure enough he did and everyone went wild. I think it the solo is was 2nd best so far on the tour behind Chicago. everyone loves this song already. this cd is going over soo well its sick.
Seek Up ~ Tour Debut = wonderful this song hit the spot.. everyone was singing and the oh my goodness the jam in the middle was rediclous! boyd and stephan were dueling it up followed by boyd and dave, LeRoi and Carter we're just smashing in their parts. butch brought it all together. great great song! Carter and stephan closed out with a lil jam duel very nice. prolly the longest song of the night.
Die Trying~ They went right into it from Seek up and this shot the enegry back up to high. i cannot stress how much these new songs are going over with the fans. me and the guy next to me we're talking how everyday was a flop compared to this and wow its just treat to see the band and the fans havin soo much fun.
#40[Tease] ~ Damn it you cant believe how many poeple went nuts when he played this... alot of people we're screaming "DONT TEASE ME" and sure enough.. he did! lol but it lead into...
What Would You Say ~ another great singalong song. "mom its my birthday" everyone knows this part. even if your not a dave fan you know that part. its a fitting song.. its keeping everyone going for one of the best endings i've heard in a while.
Crush ~tour debut, here come the BTCS songs poeple can now stop complaing they arent playing them. wow did the jam in this sound remarkable, Stephan really shines in this song IMO and with everyone singing along it makes for a good good time.
Hunger For The Great Light ~ Once again everyone knows the words already! im really excited for this, its not like the past two albums we're people are leavin to get a beer. this song has alot of intensity to it. dave is screaming at the end which drives everyone nuts
Lover Lay Down ~ did someone order a love song? it feels good to have that tossed in before the end. my g/f loves this song and so do i. if you have somone to hold its the greatest song, if you dont then you prolly get mad when im holding my g/f he he o well. slow and sweet makes us all happy.
Stand Up ~ Robert Randolf comes out to join us for this one... wow he is godly on that guitar.. this song was loud and powerful, no one was sitting when dave and 20,000 people say "stand up" everyone is enjoying this concert and the jam with RR at the end could cap the evening.. but wait? theres more?
Louisiana Bayou ~ WOW... i'm sorry for the ones who were not there but jesus, you guys missed one of the coolest endings i've ever seen. the lights we're going nuts the band was going nuts, Dave, Boyd, & Robert we're dancing up a storm, the crowd was freaking out and the jam. and i mean it was a jam. what a prefect way to end the set.
~Encore
Stolen Away On 55th & 3rd ~Tour Debut, I like this song already, very nice for an encore, everyone was rockin to it and it set things up for the end which is.
Wearhouse ~ i havent heard the woos for a while and have i missed them. the crowd goes insane when dave starts the chords. i got a lil pissed when people we're rushing for the exit right as the song started but o well.. there loss The boys jammed this one out then got the hell out of dodge err columbus..
~Leaving
We guned it out of there thanks to great driving by me made it home in 2 hours flat not bad
~ Overall
I must say this was an excellent evening. i was surpised by the poeple, the band, the music. for all of those who saw the setlist and got mad remeber one thing. its not the songs they choose to play that matter but how they play the songs. if they give it there all and it sounds like magic then do everyone a favor and get off their back.

I have to agree with the last statement. I have been to 63 shows in my time on this earth, and this was in the top THREE shows I have ever seen. Just phenominal. My favorite song is #41 and I have not heard it in such a long time. The ending with Bayou and Robert Randolph was one of the greatest songs I have ever seen live. Robert Randolph was crazy on stage dancing and just getting really deep into the song. I really want a good copy of this concert so I can share it with all my non-believing friends

Still no source?? :BANG
its been what ... 4 days ...
What is the two-week rule?
It is generally considered "bad practice" within the trading community to request a show recording any less than two weeks after the show has taken place. Sometimes it only takes a taper a couple of days to release a recording, but it is important to keep in mind that it takes a certain amount of time to convert a show recording and get it ready to distribute. In most cases, in appreciation for the taper's efforts, it is expected that the taper be allowed at least two weeks to get the show ready for trading.<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->

I went to four shows last summer. For one of them, Phoenix, a recording has still yet to really surface. It's been rumored, but hasn't shown up. It's been nearly 10 months since that show. It's been barely a week since yours. So don't worry yet!

Why are so many people so quick to jump on a board and quote a rule? The "Still no source? :BANG " was me halfly joking while still showing my wanton for this particular show. Didn;t mean to get anyones panties in a knot. :lorraine
If you ever find yourself prowling a message board looking (and hoping) for someone to break a rule just so you can point it out, you probably have a lot of time on your hands (i.e. no job).
For anyone who cares, there is a source to be released very soon, check dreaming tree forums.

You have to understand that you're not the first, nor will you be the last, to say something that even remotely resembles that, joking or no. If anyone reads multiple forums, they've seen that a hundred times with a whole lot more frustration than even joking could produce. And we know that the tapers see this, and get upset about it time and again.
(And be aware that "I'm joking" helps get your point across a little better with minimal misunderstanding... tone of voice isn't easily conveyed across the internet.)
And no, no one that I know of browses for people breaking rules. If we see it, we call it. It's all about the love here... we're just making sure the tapers get the love, too.

I don't post very often, bt I've been so excited to hear RR guest on Stand Up.. I think the song has so much potential, it's just gotta evolve like every other song has over the years. From an ol' timer's standpoint (hopin around the country to see shows since 95' but too lazy to post unless I have something important to say) the guys get tighter every tour. I just got back from my 2nd show of the season (if you don't count jazzfest) 6/19, and even though I was a little disappointed about the tailgating, or lack of, the guys blew me away..
Anyway, this is why I never post.. bc i ramble.. thanks to all the tapers out there, over the years, and everyone else who dedicates time and money for the community to keep the trading going!!! I honeslty don't think there is any other band at this stage in the game with such a large following in which there is a real tight, dedicated, and united community of fans. And I really think it has a large impact on the band's longevity.
Thanks for posting this show, and thanks to all the tapers, editors, servers, etc who make it possible..
By the way... why is it that Say Goodbye has not been played since 7-14-03 and has only been played 4 times a year since 00'. That's 5 years people. Is the general concensus that we don;t like this song.. because it used to be the shit. I don't know if any of you agree with me, and I don't really know hot to get the community to start talking about this issue if there are others who agree with me.. but I will be the guy at the 2nd night of tweeter in camden in the 5th row (pit) with the say goodbye sign.. and we'll see what happens. There's not enough interaction betweeen the fans and the band as far as song selection.. and lets be honest.. we all have learned by now that screaming the name of the song over and over doesn't do much when the band can't hear you. But hearing the #40 tease story from the other week (im sorry I forgot who it was) and how dave responded to a fan's request... i think we have more of an influencee on the band than we realize. Lets start bringing signs people... "dreaming tree" ... "last stop" .... "halloween". if the guys dont know we want to hear it.. they are not gonna pull it out of their asses (well sometimes they do) but.. u get my point. Think about this... the stop time intro was around for years before the cheer caught on.. and as far as traditions shared between the band and the tru fans (us) there aren't many. Lets make some people.. be creative.
Ok, I am rambling and this is my post for the year.. thanks for the show and everyone wish me luck with my say goodbye crusade and look for my sign in Camden.

Say Goodbye baby!!!!! I am with you on that one and i think that your right... I never see any signs at a dave show and i think its because if you block someone's view they would probably kick your ass but its a good notion

im at 98.9%, i've been listening to what i've downloaded so far. sounds pretty good, theres but at points the drums get really overpowering. also, sometimes the music overpowers the vocals as well, but from what i remember thats how it was at the show...was sometimes hard to hear the vocals out in the lawn.
im just glad theres a source out! im waiting to see if mike sarnovsky taped this one, he was at 6/7, and his sources are usually my fav's.

It sounds pretty well, not great though. But I don't care, I'm just glad its out and the waiting is over, I was way too anxious for this. Listening to it right now and its good to be able to hear this again.

I agree. the snare is especially overpowering. You have to really adjust your equalizer for the show:
3K levels up (Dave's voice)
16K levels way down (crowd noise)
Nonetheless, thanks again to the tapers. If you don't own your own DAT, you should never complain about what they do and when they do it. Access to their work is not a right, it's a privelege.

Awesome show...quality is solid but not great. The crowd is very clear. Listen to the second track #41...that girl yelling is awesome. She yells "#its my favorite song yea....41....41...." I have never heard a crowd more clear than this.

Yeah i went to this show it was by far the best yet but i dont really care for the source out right now to much crowd noise and the band sounds backed off quite a bit sometimes. I hope Mike taped it cause im a big fan of his work.. hopefully there will be another source soon.

Were the mic's for this pull even on stands? The crowd noise is pretty bad...I hate hearing conversations during shows

Are you talking about the bit right before Grey Street started? I wasn't at the show, but I'm pretty sure that bit is Dave. Probably just getting warmed up to the 12-string he plays for Grey Street.

I feel the same way.
Many thanks to the tapers! It would be nice to have great quality with every recording (and there are some great ones from this tour), but an OK recording is infinitely better than no recording at all.

As is overreacting. You must get "sick" a lot.
I believe the previous posters reiterated that a mediocre recording is better than none at all. I would guess that their intention in saying so was to express their hope that a better recording would surface, and to state that it would be welcome.

for one everybody needs to take it easy. First it is a privelege that the Band has a tapers policy if it werent for that you would get recordings period. and second there should be no fighting about this regardless, mad props to all the tapers who do a bang up job every year bringing us audio for these shows and thank god for the listeners who do listen to them. Whats so funny about peace love and understanding?

I know this show is a year old, but as it took me a few years to hop on the bt format (i'm NOT computer savvy at all!!), I just started downloading my 2005/2006 shows. I'm having trouble finding seeds for 2005-06-07 and 2005-06-08. Otherwise, so far so good. I've looked on dreamingtree and etree, so if I'm just missing it just let me know.
Any help is appreciated.. :)
oh, and--TAPERS RULE!!!!!! :D
