need some help please

i've seen alot of guitar amps miked live and some have a little mic holder attached to the amp. Just looks like about 1 or 2 inch piece of bent metal. I was wondering if this was something that was sold or if people just made them?

I don't know if they make them for sure though they seem to have about any little gadget you could want when it comes to that stuff. I would recommend looking into something else like a mic stand though that is separate from the amp. That way you have full flexibility with how close of far away you need the mic for the best sound. With something connected to the amp you will be more limited and depending on the sound system and mic, more prone to distortion problems.
