This morning I was going pop in my iPod which plays through an FM transmitter when I heard Stern coming through on my radio. After a few trials and errors, I figured out which car on the road had Sirius and I basically followed him all the way to work. He probably thought I was some kind of stalker or something.

I kinda thought they might be but don't worry, they'll take plenty of more vacation time come November. I finally saw the Joe Buck/Artie video. Funny stuff. It was awkward in some ways, especially with the dude from SNL.

This should be their last vacation for a month and a half or so. I think they will have a week off in Oct. (jewish holidays), a week in November, and 2 weeks come Christmas.

yeah, and he wants to retire!:lol I still don't get how they have a work-compressed week when that was just supposed to be for the summer during their first year on satellite. It's almost like he didn't want to show up on Fridays anymore for a live show. They have it too easy over there, IMO.

hbktonyb

Yeah, but honestly Howard deserves it. He's been on the air for 30 years. The vacations don't bother me as much, as long as he stays on the air as long as possible. I can't imagine going all mornings forever without my Stern fix.

I agree on the fix front. Have you noticed though in the past 3 or so years Stern has made up with people he feuded with? Rosie O'Donell, Dice Clay, Dee Snider, Jay Thomas, Al Roker, Danny Bonaduce, Renee Zellwegger, on and on and on. It's like he's making amends before he retires, which is a good thing.

I missed it, but I gotta tell ya: As annoying as Stuttering John was, I find Fred to be kinda annoying as well. It's one thing to get on Jackie's case because he left and was tired and didn't want to do it anymore and Fred feels he was an important cog to the show. But John was making not great money and feels he had to keep quiet about the opportunity of a lifetime with getting the Leno show. Who cares? He was an intern and it was time to move on. Fred, I mean Eric or is it Fred just bashes him relentlessly--even when he was there and still does to this day. I don't recall John ever saying anything bad about that guy, but Fred is an oversensitive douche bag and I hope John comes in one day and punches him in the face.

Gotta disagree. There was a lot of talk about John disrespecting Fred in the back, not on air. John was known as a backstabber and sneak, and Fred hated that.

Fred is oversensitive. Remember when he wanted to kill that caller who called in about the rainbow room or the actor who was acting w/his wife in the play? He's a touchy dude. And what's up with this Fred/Eric thing anyway?

Nope, it is fight week part 2. Howard is going to Cali to visit Beth, so this will probably replace the mid-Oct. vacation.

So, I earlier today got a hold of the HTV segment of the new Miss HTV for October '09 being introduced, Dominique DiCaprio.

Ya know I always thought that Gange was just sort of a little dorky, kinda the "lovable loser", but ultimately pretty much harmless. After seeing this segment, I've realized how truly downright lame and PATHETIC he is. I'm dead serious. I mean jesus, and I thought I was desperate for attention and any kind of connection with a girl (particularly right now in my life). I think EVERY single time that Penthouse Pet Cassia Riley has been in the studio, Gange continually claims that "there's no way that Cassia's boobs are real", and at least last time she fully called him outon it, that they DO do it every time, to get to feel her up. And mind you she's still every time been a good sport about it & letting them do it again, but she has essentially said at this point how pathetic it is. It's always been pretty clear to me that Cassia was all natural. Like there's definitely such a thing where a guy is trying to get to just cop a feel of a chick's rack by asserting they're fake and that that can be funny. It's not anymore with Gange, in fact I'm not sure it ever was. It's just sad and more than a little creepy. With this girl Dominique in there, looking at her breasts, particularly in that bikini, I can't even fathom how someone could not clearly realize they're totally real. I mean I've seen a ton of fake tits (not in person, unfortunately, but by way of porn) and I've gotten damn good at telling fakes from the real deal. Her boobs were OBVIOUSLY real. And hello, I wouldn't doubt that Gange watches his fair share of porn as well, so conceivably should be able to tell the difference most of the time just by looking (although I guess part of my point is that deep down he doesn't really suspect they're fakes, it's all just about getting to feel up a hot chick that he'll then start pining for). You don't have that kind of bounciness and natural cleavage, not to mention "side boob" in that way with implants. And yet in walks Gange, and in order to get to feel her up, and quite vigorously, he just won't fucking quit that there's SOME kind of unnatural thing in there. Unbelievable. Hell Dominique has one of the most obviously set of real tits I've ever seen.

I think I now officially hate Gange. What a fucking tool. :rolleyes

I know this is a couple months old already, but for some reason I only just got a hold of it very recently. It's not actually a Sybian ride like the other videos I share like this, it's a spanking video, when Penthouse Pet Taylor Vixen was in, but because it's her, that's why I'm bothering. Over at puretna.com (porn torrent site) last couple months she's become VERY popular, and I certainly think she's gorgeous. It's only about 5 minutes long.

I'm going to try and provide you with a screenshot pic here (the kind with a bunch of smaller shots taken at equal intervals) but I've not usually used this site for this in particular so I'm not sure it'll work (but if it does -- NSFW)

So this is another video that I realize isn't exactly brand new, but... hey, I don't have to post them up at all, so :p

AJ Bailey the pornstar, not sure I'd ever heard the name (& I watch my fair share of porn) but apparently she's supposedly known as "the smartest girl in porn"... well alright. I mean she gets fully nude, and it cute as hell, read boobs, so I thought why not. This is pretty much the whole section of her in the Tickle Chair, answering the questions for plugs.

First, I'd never even known until this story hit that Beth had ever even worked at Letterman's show. And so she was definitely "let go" (aka fired), as opposed to quitting, when she started with Howard?

Well not to sound naive, but at least give the benefit of the doubt, I would think it's fairly reasonable that it was deemed she should no longer work there once she was with Howard just even because with Howard being a very popular guest in Dave's stable of repeat guests over the years, that it would be, for lack of a better phrase "conflict of interests" for her to then remain at that job.

As a suggestion, they should replay the very first week that they were on Sirius radio with George in the studio. It was January of what, 4 or 5 years ago now? That was a cool show and when I heard George as an announcer for that very first time, I thought that it was super clever and a great way to freshen up the show for the new medium known as satellite radio.

I've been falling behind badly lately with keeping up on Stern, so have been in a downloading frenzy of Howard TV segments. I'm looking at this bit from Sept 17th when he's on Robin about if she would actually miss someone, and man, it's like I knew that I never really liked this woman, but listening to this conversation I'm just in awe of how truly narcisistic she is, it just blows my mind. To proclaim that something's wrong with you if you're actually in love with someone, and they go away just because you can still talk on the phone or whatever that you shouldn't then miss them.

This broad's fucking insane, god I don't know how in the hell Florentine lasted as long as he did :rolleyes

Also, Mad Dog is absolutely horrible.

I hate him now. I was a big fan of him back on WFAN.

I should mention that I met him in person and got to chat with him for damn near a half hour, and when he's not all amped up for the radio (and he's 10x more amped up since joining Sirius than he was back at WFAN), and acting like a normal human being... he's actually a really cool guy.

Artie's on the sauce fo sho. Long weekend, busy weekend, mentally stressful weekend... yep. If not heroin, it's heavy on the booze for sure... which, in the end, will lead him back to mr brownstone.

I think Howard is pretty much leaving in a year. If Howard renewed for another 5 years and this was maybe 5 years ago, I think he'd sit Artie down or just go on the air that it didn't work out. For someone who bitches and whines so much like Howard, you know when he plays cards with Ralph and such that they're discussing, "What the f is up with Artie? Who misses this much work?" But they have a strange relationship that Artie can miss time sometimes to do other things, although Howard put the foot down when Artie wanted to do Dirty Work and not the show.

On another note, I don't get the whole Jay Leno thing at all. John left for greener pastures and yes, it could've been handled differently, but it's gotten kinda old with Howard ragging on Leno. I don't think that Leno did much wrong other than maybe he should've called Stern to say what's up with John. JMO.

The main reason I don't think Howard is leaving is because he didn't allow Sirius/XM to put his channels on the Iphone app, which is a huge bargaining chip if you ask me. The fact remains though, the second Howard announces he's done I'm making a call to Sirius to cancel. I love the Stern show but without the Stern show Sirius isn't worth it, imo.

plus 1. I only listen to Sirius for Stern. Don't listen to anything else although I should listen to football on Sundays. I couldn't even tell you what channels baseball are on now that the merger went through. Even if DMB got its own channel I might switch. He did a charity benefit show for a someone who was in a similar condition as his father and it sent him into a tailspin that led him to a quasi nervous breakdown. Well I suppose you could still technically call this a Sybian ride, as the new Miss HTV girl for November did hop on the device, though as those who were listening back on the 15th know the ride itself was a disaster, but this segment overall was still pretty funny, most especially because of her dad being there, so I still bothered to isolate the video.

I don't know, to hear this girl talking about this... she's very cute, but no way it's ALL on the guys that she's been with, why she can't orgasm, I'm sure a good amount of the blame lays with her as well, she's way too uptight. Plus hello, she gets on the thing saying unequivocally it won't work -- then of course it won't! And shit, Benjy seriously got her phone number? The fact alone that she'd legitimately be considering going out with Benjy automatically would make me never wanna even think about touching her :lol I wouldn't wanna be even in the same vicinity as any girl pretty much who would seriously hook up with him.

She's the absolute epitome of a hot chick who thinks way too highly of herself, but even worse, but she doesn't even realize that she does. Then again, she is going to go out with Benjy supposedly... :lol

And she's up there pretty far on the moron scale, too. I love when they get into talking about her belief in ghosts, apparently just hearing a door slam was her definite proof that she experienced a ghost.

I've been listening to Best of this morning since it was such a good week so I missed this. I'll try to catch it at 3 and hopefully they wont have the replay all censored or not on at all.

As far as the commercials go...I really think Sirius feels that Howards fans already have Sirius and there is no need to market him.
Now there is no doubt that a large part of the Sirius base is all Howard fans..but I think they just feel if Howards fans dont have Sirius already then they wont ever get it so they are focusing the commercials on the other celebrities associated with the company.

Just my 2 cents

Im sure you guys dont remember me at all but I interned on the show for 9 months and was on a few times plus the Intern Show and Ferrall. I couldn't listen for close to two years after I left there just because I was 1. on overload and 2. I freakin missed being there! It was like terrible seperation anxiety. Either way, I've recently started listening again full time and my God, the show has been awesome.

I definitly remember you interning there, as I was green with envy. You made it on the air talking about Ronnie right?

Yea Ronnie a few times then just random things that sometimes weren't even on air, I was just in there for stuff. I was on the Intern Show pretty much weekly (but who listens?) and Ferrall 2 nights a week. Ugh...

Yea the Intern Show crowd was a little... crazy. You could tell over the phone that a lot of them were jobless in the basement with an online Sirius account.

I definitely miss it though. It was so awesome hanging with those dudes four days a week and just talking to Howard every now and then is something I took for granted, now I realize how truly ridiculous it was. After the first time I was on he said to me that I did a good job and made people laugh, I said I was nervous as hell and I'll never forget, he said "I've been doing this for 30 years and I get nervous every morning." :thumbsup

By the way... Train doing Going to California is awesome right now!

You dare not mention DMB in the Stern office. Steve Brandano and me were the only two that liked DMB or Phish. I remember I walked to Times Square to get D&T Radio City at Virgin Records and got called a fag as soon as I walked back in the office.

I didn't hear the show this morning but did skim Marksfriggin. So whats up w/Gary Garver? I didn't even know he was fired. I always thought he was a more annoying version of Stuttering John and thought he could be a tool sometimes, but why was he fired? In reading the report, it says that he was out of control but then Stern liked what he did w/Darth Nihlus, etc. I'm confused. Sometimes it seems that people like Kevin Smith and Gary Garver, who love Stern and will do anything for the guy, gets no respect from Howard.

He hasn't said anything yet. But I can't see him fully retiring. No matter what it is, it will be a much less frequent show (2 or 3 days a week, summers off, etc...). And probably not a show that starts at 6 a.m.

if you're familiar with torrents the show is out there somewhere. also, go to youtube.com because they do post the audio of some recent shows there.

my gut feeling is that there may be specials, but the show as we know it will be over. they haven't done 5 live shows in one week since the sirius project started. first it was because they took the summer off and then robin went long with the news, etc. as a long time listener, I thought it was kinda a shitty move for paying subscribers.

artie is still funny, but his off and on sabbaticals have made him jump the shark at certain points. he's had major drug issues, which of course are serious, but i think if howard was sticking around he would have dumped artie a while ago. i geniunely think that he didn't mind the constant no-shows about 2 years ago, but you can hear in howards voice when artie no shows that he's just indifferent to artie at this point. i think he knows he hired a fuck up, but didn't know how troubled he was.

I still listen but not as much but there is still flashes of brilliance and the news topics are still relevant and fun to listen to. They do get good guests every once in a while, like Francis Ford Coppolla, but they're few and far between.

I like how Stern used to make fun of Bruce Willis and Aschton Kutcher for getting along and he'd say "okay, we get it, you guys get along but it's enough now" when they'd hang out. That's my whole take on this Chevy-Howard thing. Howard used to blast Chevy for being unfunny and his movies suck and now that some how they've patched things up, it's a lovefest and Chevy's movies are the greatest. It really makes Howard look hypocritical and come off bad, imo. It's like, okay we get it you guys are friends now, but to invite the guy to your wedding and praise him beyond words and now you love his movies---how do you love his movies ewhen a few years ago they're supposed to be pieces of garbage? And don't get me wrong, I actually like most of Chase's films, but it is just a contriadiction to what he used to say. Kinda like how years ago he blased Bubba the Love Sponge for being a ripoff, but when Stern needed programming and hired Bubba, we're supposed to drink the Kool Aid and like the guy. Just my opinion.

I dont know how to say this w/out being offensive but I listened today to the whole Tiger rant and I agreed with a lot of what he said. First, why is he/Tiger so close to the neighbors?? He should have a neighborhood all to himself. And the caller did sound like a black guy, not that it matters. It's just weird...the house on TMZ is right on top of his neighbors. I thought this guy was a billionaire???

Gotta agree with Howard, how doesn't he have more expensive houses? 2.5 million is nothing for Tiger. Thats like me owning a $1,000 house.

Favorite part of today's show - Howard gives the guy a free tour of the studio: "Sure, come in for a tour, have Baba Booey do it, give him something to do. No hair off my ass, what do I care. 'Boff, I was here 'til 5 oclock giving tours boff'"

That's only the house he's living in at the moment. In 2006 he bought 3 properties right next to each other on an island in South Florida for like $45 million and knocked all the houses and is currently building a huge one for himself. Pretty ridiculous.
