Well to answer both questions with one big F-U... Howard said himself that if he had to put someone in the Artie chair it would be Shuli. So I guess I'm in pretty good company.

I haven't listened to the show, sadly in about 4 weeks as I'm in between cars, but what exactly happened w/Langford? He bolted for a NY station due to Howard's feud with Sirius? That doesn't even make sense since Steve has always been loyal to Howard. There is something more to that story.

Yeah they were talking about it on the wrap up show too. He left the show to join another terrestrial radio show that will be in the news format. Howard said he wished him well but didn't understand why he would leave a secure job with them. They also mentioned that Steve would get pissed at having to wait to come on the show in the hallway. Howard said he basically didn't want to disrupt the flow of the show sometimes to bring Langford in. I have a feeling there is a lot more to the story too, maybe he also got fed up of Sour Shoes, :lol

I believe so. When I had one of the radios like that, all I needed to do was plug the radio from the power plug to the car lighter, and plug the antenna into the radio and expose it (I put mine on my roof, it was magnetic).

Most definitely. I've read the blog for about three years now and that's the first time he's crossed the line like that. did you ever listen to bubba? his show streams on that radioio website for free on a loop. only annoying thing is the same commercials over and over but for a free show its solid. also i REALLY like the all out show on shade45 that starts at 3pm m-f. good bits and if you are into rap they play some cuts and just shoot the shit. keeps getting better and better all the time. heres the link that that bubba show, obviously they are in tampa so it has a lot of florida local shit but overall i like it esp with sterns schedule now. how do they not have a show in the afternoon slot on 101? its just dumb to not have a drive time program on that station like they did when bubba was there. idk maybe i am the only one who saw that as a huge misfire when they just went away from an afternoon program.

meh, I mean like I said in my main post about it earlier in the 'last movie watched' thread, I was genuinely surprised at how much heavy sexual innuendo and double entendre they got away with in the script, not that that necessarily made it clever or anything. Many of the jokes I saw coming a mile away, and also I thought it was a little lame that they actually directly bring up Paris Hilton (and the dig on her) when obviously that's what the character is modeled after. It just seems overall rather trite and mundane. Plus the live studio audience sitcom really is just kinda dead. Single camera shows are where it's at.

which reminds me, I found this one guy's youtube channel the other day, it's entirely dedicated to episodes of Tough Crowd With Colin Quinn. I'm not sure how many total there were to know if it's literally all of them, I mean probably not, but he's still got a shit load. Not exactly HD quality, but perfectly watchable. I sorta fell into it right around the one year anniversary of Greg Giraldo's death because there's many episodes for which he was on the panel, but of course lots of DiPaolo as well. Show was great up until Artie left in Dec. 2009. He stabbed himself 9 times but didn't kill himself. '10 was pretty bad although it had a few moments. '11 has been the worst year of the show. It's not that funny anymore, unfortunately, but I still listen out of habit.

'06 to '09 were some of my favorite years of the show. They had 4 great years on Satellite.

You gotta listen to this battle. Pretty much Scott wanted to take some personal days off while the show was on to go to a bowling tournament. The one he did last year. Everyone he asked told him no, Baba Booey and Tim Sabean included. But he didn't accept their answer so he felt that until Howard said no it wasn't official. Yeah I am just so disappointed in the way the show has been running I haven't been listening as much. Ben Stiller was in last week and I just didn't care, this 3 shows a week is such bullshit.
