View Full Version : Burning DVD Torrents Help

i recently downloaded a dvd torrent and i can't burn it...the DVD burner software that i use is Sonic....

the files that were downloaded were VOB files...what are these? is there a software that i have to have to convert them to be able to burn...

any help would be appreciated.

Also clueless when it comes to this, I have the same problem as this guy. DMBMARK, did you figure anything out? There has to be a website, vcdhelp.com made me go in circles more than help. Thanks in advance if anyone has advice-

With Nero, choose DVD-Video files, then drag all the files in the VIDEO_TS folder into the file window and burn.

so i've got a couple dave and tim and dave and friends DVDs, but I don't know how to burn copies of them.

i have nero. do i just go to "copy dvd"? is it really that simple?

you can use nero and just "copy dvd"
but i always think its safer to make a disc image then "burn saved image", if its a b+P then it def easier i think as you might not be doing them all at the exact same time

do i use nero to make a disc image? i used to have alcohol 120 on my computer...but i never used it. isn't that what alcohol is for?

i use nero
put the disc in, make sure at the top you have it set as "image reader" and NOT the E drive/burner or whatever drive is your burner
select "copy entire disc"
after you hit next once or twice it will pop up a box asking what to call the file and where to save it
