Im trying to learn Coldplay's Warning Sign and one of the chords is F#/D. Anyone know how to play this chord? Here is the link to the tab:

p.s. theres a capo on the 1st fret if that matters.

Just form the chord using what you know. It's a D with an F# root.

Yeah the tab guy got it wrong.
It's D/F#, not F#/D.

Yeah, that's how you read those "root" chords. D/F# means "D" chord with "F#" root (kinda think of it as a base note....)

well, in the arobtth book:
1.) guitar is tuned from low to high: e a d e a e (lower b and g strings)
2.) the chords for the verse are G 6/9 {again low to high} (0 0 10 9 10 0),
Dadd9 (0 0 5 4 5 0), A (0 0 12 11 12 0), and Eadd11 (0 0 7 6 7 0), pretty simple really

Having that high e makes it a different chord.
