I think 2004 is the only year he did that. Occasionally he does it in LIOG, but I was seriously shocked when he started that solo. My advice for asking for tabs, try to find out as much as you can on your own by ear, then when your really desperate ask. If you find out a song by ear(especially Dave's licks and stuff) your musical abilities and talents will grow. Just some friendly advice :)

i also love the jimi from 4-30-96. cool dave jam at the end. posted a thread on dmbtabs to see if anyone had tabbed that solo out but there havent been any responses to it yet.

I just found some really cool software for figuring out transcriptions.
http://seventhstring.com It was sited in Guitar Player this month.
Their software is Transcribe. It allows you to load in a file, loop sections, slow it down,
(down to 25% of original) though 35-50 seems to be the most managable sound wise.
It gives a frequency analysis of highlighted sections and puts them over a keyboard layout so you can see what the notes are.
It has a 30 day free trial. I've used it a lot in the past few weeks for figuring out some Al Di Meola stuff. It's worth getting , at the very least on the trial basis for 30 days.
