no, covering tim is like pretending your sad at a wedding. theres a certain lack of emotion. unless of course you can improv like its your job

If he just slowed down a little bit, it would sound so much more clean. The speed he does it at just sounds sloppy...its like he's trying to make it hard on himself. What's speed without the accuracy, or feeling?

i like how later he tried to improve his own loop and just bailed on it cuz he messed it up and went back to stream.

he definatlly is alot faster than me but don't just regergitate half-assed covers. show a little creativity.

but hey, whatever, he can play stream and i can't

I'm glad I haven't put the amount of time required to "learn" that into any one song. You can tell that the guy is not naturally incredibly talented at playing high-paced guitar instrumentals, but that he has spent inordinate amounts of time practicing Stream, a single composition by Tim Reynolds. It's a nice thing to emulate, but it'd sound forced coming from most guitarists. He does have some very quick technical skill, and in that sense it is cool to watch, but it looks like that skill has been wasted on one song. Now, I may be wrong and he could be entirely proficient at all of Tim's catalog, but I'm guessing he spent a lot of time learning from a tab to get to that point.

Wow. The worst kid in any of my classes would have shot that video better than that.
