Congrats on a huge win for your program. :thumbsup

thank you....Kentucky had been in a pretty big rut before Coach Cal got there, but nobody can understand how brutal the last 8 years have been for Indiana fans, with the exception of 1.5 years of Sampson. I feel like IU officially returned to relevancy tonight.

I can't imagine what it would be like UK went through that. Our rut looked like the Wooden era compared to IU's recent struggles. This is a really overlooked rivalry IMO. Can't wait for a chance at payback next year... Albeit with a completely different team :lol

Huge fucking win. I don't care what anyone else has to say.

UK missed too many free throws, and we were on fire from three range. That's a recipe for diaster fpr UK.

I'm currently at the bars and its nuts. Lots of fun tonight

I was reading a stat this week that said over the history of the UK/IU rivalry, 20% of the time one of the teams has been ranked #1. That's pretty awesome, and you don't see too many rivalries of this caliber that are not in-conference or in-state. I hope the rumors about Coach Cal wanting to get rid of it are just that and don't come true.

From the part of the state that I am from (just across the river from Louisville), this is the biggest game on the schedule. Purdue is our in-state rival, of course, but there are more UK fans in south-central Indiana than Purdue fans, so this is a bigger deal to us. And despite our differences, we can probably both agree that UofL blows. :lol

Still smiling a few hours later. Don Fischer's call was amazing, I love that YouTube video.

With all that said, kentucky is athletic enough to easily make a final four appearance

Beauty game last night. Everyone looked pretty good with the exception of Pritchard. Pretty fun though hearing Vitale literally pining for IU to feed Zeller the ball the entire 2nd half.

Hello fellow Hoosier fans! Woke up today still smiling, and having just watched a few videos (like the Nick's one above) I am in such a great mood.

Unbelievable game with an absolutely perfect ending. People were saying it would be a good close game and that's exactly what we got. I thought it was crazy when I saw the stat that Watford was the only Indiana player to score in the remaining 7:52. Obviously his game winning shot was number one on espn's top plays, but Oladipo's dunk was #6 as well.

Ah! Still can't think straight.

That Oladipo slam was nasty.

I have drank (drunk? drunken? whatever) an entire bottle of champagne this morning (with OJ.) The sun is shining. I am baking Christmas goodies. What a beautiful day this is.

Oh my god, please get Verdell out of this game. 4 minutes left, I don't want him to touch the ball. He's been too careless tonight and it's driving me crazy.

Whew.

Verdell just about killed us tonight, that's for sure....at least he hit that shot to put us up 4. Crean definitely needs to come to his senses on Jones though, he's still making the same mistakes that he did as a freshman, and it just about cost us a win tonight. No reason to play him so much, especially in late game situations.

Oh well, another good win. Penn State hammered Purdue by 20 tonight, so Sunday could be close.

Ugh...why do they do this to us?! Almost had a heart attack...

Anyway, a win is a win. I agree about Verdell, he should NOT handle the ball. Catch and shoot sure, but no dribbling and such. And is there something wrong with Hulls? As of late he hasn't passed well, hasn't really shot all that much, and hasn't even seemed to try to get open for a three or anything. Makes me wonder. Great game from Watford and Zeller, I like seeing them work so well together.

Also, I'm hoping that Penn State wasted all their offense tonight against Purdue. After what I just watched unfold in Assembly Hall tonight, though, my confidence for this team on the road isn't especially high. Prove me wrong Hoosiers!

^^ Agree on all points with both of you guys. They don't play well with a lead.. they were up by 10+ in the first and second half tonight and we know what happened. They battled back and were up against MSU midway through the second half and then basically got blown out in the last 10 minutes. They were up big on Kentucky and let them back in. They need to put teams away, and consequently save all of us panic attacks. :lol

But yeah, let's see what happens at Penn State. They need to get some road wins. On the plus side though, they opened Big Ten play with three quality opponents, and overall I'm happy with how they did. That MSU game was closer than the score and I am excited to get a second crack at them next month. 14-1, 2-1. Nice.

Edit: Watford was the man tonight. It's something to see a player that in the zone, especially when he's on our team. :)

A little too close for comfort there at the end... but it's a conference win on the road, I'll take it

Will "fuck you" Sheehey.

Penn St. is full of fucking punks. Trashy basketball through and through. That intentional arm to the face of Watford on that last three was completely uncalled for. I love Sheehey, that was awesome. Good to get back to the winning side of things!

Sure glad they kicked it in in the second half. No excuses for not getting up for this game, so I'm happy they got things running and finished strong. The end of game crap is just that, crap... that foul was ridiculous. I love Sheehey's fire; if I'm going to put together a line-up for clutch situations, I want him in there.

Tough game this week at Wisky... they gotta show up from tip-off. Go Hoosiers!
