Well depending on how much you're wanting to spend...........I'd go with either a Pearl ELX......lacquer finishes usually around 800 bucks...............or a Pearl EXR.........awesome marble looking wraps for around 7-800. I got a Pearl ELX last year and it was 700 and it's an amazing kit for the price. It really just depends on how much you're wanting to spend. Any other questions ya have I can help ya with!

Yeah if you can afford a little more I would go with a low end Pearl (I think the Export series) or Yamaha (Stage Custom). The thing with buying drums is you pay for what you get. If you plan on playing in a band, I would definatly go with one of the Pearl of Yamaha's I mentioned. If you are buying just to learn how to play it, the Sonor should be fine. I've never played a Sonor, but I really do like the hardware that comes with it. Its pretty thick, which means its durable.

Yeah the Sonor should be fine. You could also check on ebay, you can find some really good deals on there for sets and cymbals.
