Virginia residents for DMB license plates

Hey everyone -
I am wondering about trying to get something going about geting a DMB license plate here in Virginia. The band has given a ridiculous amount of money and support back to this state and there is no reason they should not let this happen. After all if they let us have a Jimmy Buffet plate why not a DMB firedancer ? I am hoping I am the first to try to make this happen. I was looking on the dmv website and apparantly there needs to be 350 prepaid applications for the plates to even be considered. There is a lot that will go into me doing this and I am just wondering who out there would be interested in helping me out. Any info or suggestions would be beneficial. Thanks everyone - Amy

As much as I would support this in any other state being a DMB fan, I think Virginia has way too many custom and vanity plates already. Everyone and their darn mother have a different plate, and vanity plates at that, in this state. I'm getting sick of it.

On the other hand, what's one more plate, really? I'm sure the proceeds from the plates could be put to good use for charity or otherwise. Unfortunately, I'm apathethic.
