First Live show(please critique)

Hey, Our band just had our first show the other night in spokane and I have a video of our opening song. Watch it and tell me what you think. We have only been together since august. We are not the best but we try.

there is one really bad note towards the middle that I sing that I appologize for lol.

i watched the video...i don't think its fair to critique it...it seems like a really bad mix. and the singer's guitar part just seems piercing over the rest (i'm not saying it is but the recording makes it seem that way). i think that song in the video could use some tweaking...i'm just saying this personally too being a guitarist myself in extreme writer's block unfortunately. but i have a lin 6 dl4 delay modeler pedal...its fucking awesome. you can model sweep echo effects with some delay i think if you added that to your guitar part at the beginning it would give your song some bad ass ambience. the distortion seems a little much to me. play your guitar through your bridge pickup only and get a natural sound out of it, it would make it less piercing (if it is).

also what kind of gear do yall use for your guitars....amps, pedals, guitars, etc. just curious?

i use a behringer head. I have a washburn w114 i think.I also use a boss super overdrive pedal.

Google has done it again. Google has a new program.You can upload all the video you want on their web sites. https://upload.video.google.com/ This lets you upload any video you want. It takes a couple days for them to verify the video but its awesome!!!!


Then what you do is make it a embedded video on your page linked to the google video.
