So I finally got the Stone down...and now i look back and think, Whay was it soo hard? I mean it is hard to sing it and play it but really it isnt that hard...at least in my eyes (Now) .

Just wondering if anyone else felt that way after they learned it

I thought that basically every DMB song on guitar was hard when I first started playing. But then I got used to Dave's style(well, what he used to have at least) and once you know his style, you can play everything else with ease. ie, Billies, OSW Instrumental Intro, The Stone, WWYS, etc.

I think it's one of the easiest to sing and play. Honestly. It's one of those songs that once you learn and play a bunch of times you kind of never will forget any part of the song. That is if you play DMB as much as I do and most of us here.

It's a walk in the park....(after) you practice of course. I know what you mean though when you first try to play it the verse scared me too.

I'm almost there. I can play it all, and and kind of mumble the words, but the timing between the words and guitar is eluding me. More practice i guess...it's a song that you really have to feel

I think the syncopated rhythms thow people for a loop. It would be tough for someone who hasn't put in a decent amount of hours to get this down but for any person that has been playing for awhile it's not that hard. I will say my hands do start cramping up if I try it twice in a row.
