Did this one this evening. It turned out a lot better that I thought it would, but it's not without it's flaws. This was the first time I've ever used my shaker or harmonica in a recording. I think the shaker helped a lot.

By far your best cover. That was awesome my friend.
Your voice fits this song perfectly. Well done. Well done.

this was a pretty good pick for you. the piano sounds pretty crappy, but that's home recording on a computer sometimes. the extra layers and instruments fit pretty well and sounded good for the most part.
the only really big time vocal problem is the word "beaufitul" in the chorus. it's probably because you're trying to find a non-falsetto note to sing (in the past you've been pretty shy about falsetto, and you also don't sing the main falsetto bit in this song - the "every day, every day").

Thanks. I'm really sure what you mean by "beautiful". Care to pick out a certain time mark? I can see others where the "We live in a" is definitely a little off, but I don't really see the word "beautiful" messing me up. For example, the first go around at :44 is definitely off.
But whatever, I'm most likely wrong. I really can't sing.

yeah, the we live part gets a little shaky, but the actual notes you're singing on the word beautiful (the second syllable is the real problem) aren't correct. it happens each time you sing it.

Ohhhh. Ok. I see (hear) it now. Thanks a lot for pointing that out.

do you just not think that your falsetto sounds good, or do you have a hard time with it?

I have a hard time making it sound good. I mean, I can hit the actual notes, but I just can't get it to a level where I would use it in a recording/live/what have you.
