I am looking to buy an electric guitar and i want the 1964 JB Hutto Model Montgomery Airline, which is the guitar that Jack White uses in The White Stripes.. but they stopped selling that in 1970.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any guitars that look similar and even better, sound similar to that.. that would be awesome

also.. if someone could help me out with the type of pedals Jack uses (Distortion and something else thats drops the signal in and out)

A seven nation army can't hold me back.

First song I ever learned.

Sorry that I can't answer your question or add anything important to this thread. Al I have to say is that vintage guitars (in my opinion) sound about a thousand times better than new guitars. They just don't make them like they used to.

Check out a 1963 or 1964 Fender Jazzmaster.

White Stripes is not my cup of tea, but if it is yours, more power to you.

If you get something like the guitar you are looking for you may find yourself sad and broke when you get sick of the White Stripes.

I'd get something more versatile like the les paul or a tele or strat or something.

plug whatever guitar you want...into a Marshall.
