Hi, I've never played an instrument of any sort before, cannot read music at all.... and I am very interested in learning to play a keyboard.

What would a good keyboard be to pick up for a true beginner like me? I'd just want to play for myself, and possibly be able to record to my computer sometime down the road.

What features should I look for? I am not familiar with anything like this at all.

Also, any sites out there with sheet music for keyboard? DMB possibly?

Thanks everyone

Check out the music store cheapies - usually for under two hundred bucks you can get something that's functional with a wide range of sounds. Most keyboards nowadays come with MIDI in/out, so that'll be helpful when you're looking to go to computers
