I think I know what the problem is. How do I convert the FLAC files into MP3 files so they can appear in my Itunes?
this is also in response to zaj128:
not that other responses have not been helpful...but what helped me get started and understanding all of the bit torrent stuff is this thread: http://www.antsmarching.org/forum/showthread.php?t=134570
thanks to dr. strangelove for that info!
there is also a VERY helpful FLAC thread here: http://www.antsmarching.org/forum/showthread.php?t=118800
Also, as far as iTunes goes: once you've converted your music (using your FLAC program), in iTunes, you click File-->Add File to Library-->highlight all the files you want in your itunes library (they used to be .flac, and now they are .wav)-->click open, and bingo bango bongo! :multithere you have it!
*helpful tip for itunes* once you've got them in your library, highlight them, click advanced-->convert selection to AAC (it makes the format smaller so that it doesn't take as much memory in your library...if you want)
I might be wrong here, but after you've done all that converting business in itunes, i wouldn't recommend trading that as it's been converted so many times? I don't know much about this type of technology...so i'd check before you consider trading any of it...
hope I was helpful :)...and i hope this is appropriate discussion for this thread?? sorry if it's not:shrug
keep on keepin' on:cool

I've only got Crumbo's, but it's just about as good as they come, IMO. Even better than his tapes from last year! I think I've listened to the entire show at least a few times and haven't heard any problems or errors at all. VERY clean tape, the sound is excellent.
One thing, Dave's vocals aren't very loud on the tapes. So, if you're looking for tapes that sound a lot like the official releases, with the levels really changing a lot, and with Dave's vocals and guitar really upfront, you won't find it. The sound in the venue just wasn't what that was, Dave wasn't extremely loud, which is a good thing. I really like that I can hear all of the other instruments on this recording. The trumpet and sax are VERY crisp. Boyd is quite audible, which is nice. Sometimes he doesn't show up very well on the tapes. The best thing, though, about Crumbo's tapes (as well as the Alpine sound) is that Carter and Stefan are quite loud. Carter's kick bass sounds fantastic. Very clear, thumping, but not overpowering, and you can actually hear Stefan for once.
Great tapes Crumbo :thumbsup

Go to the song info screen. On the right side, 3 rows down, is 'Track Number.' It says '___ of ___'
In the first blank, enter in the song number, and in the second, enter how many total songs from the show. So there are 21 total songs from the show, you just need to number them.
Does this make sense?
