I was tempted to quote lyrics.
Instead: http://www.dreamingtree.org

There are a number of bit torrent clients, people have their preference. I use Azureus myself. Some like old skool Bit Torrent. There's U Torrent. Try googling the various names, you'll find some downloads.

Once you get one, read this forum. Good start!

Further technical questions might be better answered here too.

You really can't go wrong with Naylor. I pulled his 6.10 show and it was well worth it. I'm pulling the Sareen right now so I can let you know later.

Avi's pull is just slightly better (particularly in the beginning) than Sarnovsky's. As far as I can tell they're even for the rest of the show. Both are good, to say the least, pulls.

"Better" is a very subjective term here. All three are very different microphones, each has a different sound, and some may prefer one over another. So many factors go into a "good" tape...

:thumbsup So true. Please allow me to clarify what I define as "good":

I have five speakers, not including my subwoofer, directly connected to my computer. They're not the best speakers, but they certainly get the job done.

A show that I classify as "poor" would have a very bassy sound to it with the vocals severely, and some of the instrumentals partially, drowned out.

A show that is average has a little too much reverb, bass, and may struggle with the higher end of the sound.

A show that is "good" will have a well-balanced sound that does not disrupt any of my speakers to the point where they're overwhelmed. The sound is clear and concise.

A show that is "excellent" will have complete purity in its fullest sense of the word. The only thing better than an "excellent" show would be a soundboard.

But these are just my standards. :)

average: all of last year's nissan tapes

good: my night 2 starlake

excellent: my night 1 starlake and raleigh shows from 2001.

imho, i'd rather have a good AUD tape than a SBD. something about hearing the crowd makes the show sound much better.

I just wanted to post that I'm a first time downloader here, but the work you guys do is AMAZING. I'm still trying to figure everything out (torrent wise) so I can be any help I can, but I'm just shocked at the quality of what you guys do.

Right now I only have Eric & Avi's and both are great to listen to...and I don't have a cheap listening system (B&W speakers, Classe Audio gear, Cambridge Audio CDP--to be replaced with classe as soon as it comes in)...so I can pretty easily tell when recordings are done poorly...and these were done great!!! It's amazing to be at the shows and then come home and listen to the work you've done and feel about as close as I can imagine to being there again... The friends I went with have heard the recording on my system and they all said they had flashbacks to exactly what they were doing at different points throughout the shows.

Keep up the amazing work and it is extremely appreciated!!!!

I think I have figured it out. It must have been an error with the MKW Audio Compression Software. I downloaded Traders Little Helper and It worked.
