Put this one together over the past couple days. I took select lyrics and the chords from Pig, and crafted an acoustic version. It's kinda like if Pig, Don't Burn the Pig, and Proudest Monkey mated.

As usual, quality stuff. Little too "perky" and happy for me, but I still found it to be a good listen. I dig that you take Dave songs and try to put them in your style, and not try to duplicate Dave's tone, and you add original riffs. Good stuff.

You know Pat, for some reason this one didn't do much for me.

I like your guitar riff, but the lyrics just don't seem to flow at that rhythm. It just feels like it is hard to get into the song because in order to fit some of the lyrical lines in, you kinda had to fudge them. (Did that make sense?) Like rush through a word or say it too slowly.

I dig the banjo though. It sounds great with this. My opinion probably sucks, but that is kinda what I got from it.

pat, i can play these songs all note-for-note, because i learned them all by ear (whatever). but its 1000 times more impressive that you interpret them like this. my style is very similar to dave's, so when i cover, i don't chance much except some vocal melodies and strumming patterns... i just love your stuff! very good
