Yes, it is. I was watching him play 1st night Alpine and he's in the middle of the neck for the riff. Not like the tab we have, that's for shizzle.

It's a bird, it's a plane, no....it's Pat M. to the rescue like every other time.

Yeah, you're correct. I paid special attention at Nissan to see how it was played. But it's on the Bari, so the notes aren't necessarily wrong.

Yeah, Dave's my uncle.

But he plays it on the baritone, so it's not really wrong. What's out there works perfectly fine with standard tuning.

I saw this and I saw that Smooth Rider is "wrong" too. That is also played on the baritone. So what Im wondering is if Dave even has a normal electric guitar?

There are a lot of "Bari" songs that sound fine on standard (Kill the King, What you Are, Bayou, Fool to Think) you can play em note for note in standard.... I don't know why Dave plays Bayou on a Bari though, its in A... oh well.

Wait, are we sure that Bayou is played on the baritone? At the beginning of 2005, he played it on the acoustic. He switched to electric later. I think he plays it on his standard electric, cause why learn it differently for a baritone?
