I'm fucking pumped.... It's a sign of good things to come.

Every other Friday from 8:00 to 9:30, in between open mic and the late night DJ at Duke Elwyn's in Chester.... If you're into Metal/Alternative/Prog come check it out....

We played a full set tonight to see how the crowd reaction would be to secure the position.

Black Sabbath - Supernaut
Dominance Prolong*
In Vaine*
Rage Against the Machine - Bomb Track
Metallica - Seek And Destroy
OHM: - Where's My Hat %
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Gimme Back My Bullets

The Arcade Fire - Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)
Pennyfront*
Discleanser*
Catalogger*
Muir Hairline*
Feeling Nothing#
Public Enemy - He Got Game (Stephen Stills - For What It's Worth)@

* - Original song
% - Cut Short [We really fucked this up (and we practiced it more than any of the others) so quickly switching into Gimme Back My Bullets which wasn't planned]
# - A song from my friend's band, he came out and played drums on it
@ - My friend stayed on drums, and I came back out on vocals

We're gonna try and get studio time to record our originals and maybe upload them, and next time we're hoping to have a full second set of just Jethro Tull's Thick as a Brick. I still don't know how to play most of Part 2, which is going to be tough with the minute and a half drum solo.... So lot's of practice ahead. Any help transcribing it or, know a place I can find one already done would be a great help.

I just figured I'd brag about how kickass this all is..... We just started the band a month ago too, which blows my mind. Each of us played around before, but never all together.

Nice to feel appreciated, isn't it?

By the way...where the heck is Chester (other than "the wake of Poseidon"?

Yeah.... I probably shoulda mentioned that

It's about 30-40 minutes out of Philly.... It's one of those cities you would find on the "Most Dangerous" list, so I'd be very surprised if someone here lived there, but it's worth a shot.

Hey, you never know.

Anyway, break a leg....knock 'em dead (or whatever version of wishing "good fortune" you prefer) :)
