If anyone on here knows anything about the M-Audio nova condenser, I could use some help. I need to get a shock mount for it (i lost the old mount and i figured i should get one anyways). Does anyone know of a shock mount that works with this mic? Here's a picture http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Nova-main.html

Anyways... does anyone have this mic or one similar to it or does anyone know of shock mounts that work universally on a mic of this size? I'm looking to spend under $75 too, hoping for something like 30 or 40 bucks but thanks in advance for your help guys.

Hmmm...I've got the same mic, but M-Audio doesn't make a shockmount for it, that I know of. You can do one of 2 things:

Do a froogle search for "universal shock mount", or measure the diameter of the Nova and then buy a shock mount for a mic with the same diameter (that might take some research time). My guess is that the universal shock mount may actually be a little cheaper.

Try shockmount.com, too.

Actually, I think mine may be defective :(

I just picked up a Neumann KMS105 for live work. A/B'ed it with my Beta 58a at home the day it arrived and way really disappointed. But, the first gig I used it at, I went "Aaaaaaaaaaah....that's what I'm talkin' 'bout!" :D
