Hey guys, i just started playing guitar like 2 days ago. im not really that far into it. But i was wondering how to read tabs. if anyone could help with that or give me some advice it would be awesome.

All you do is look at the numbers, and hit the corresponding fret in order.
It doesn't tell you the rhythm, so you have to know the song a little.

There are six lines on a TAB. Each line corresponds to a string on your guitar (the top line being the littlest string, and the bottom line being the largest string). The numbers on the TAB indicate the fret number you are to place your finger(s) on the corresponding string(s).

Listen to an audio recording of your TAB for the rhythm as you try to learn the song from the TAB. Hope this helps. Good luck and keep practicing!
