I love this guy. It is questions like this truly give me perspective on my life. To me and most reading this, the question is a no brainer. It is like asking when is Christmas or Thanksgiving... But when I think about it, 4 years ago I knew nothing about when tour dates came out. Nor did I know where to find out. Funny how you get hooked on something and it changes your life...

Thanks patrick123 for the interesting (and rare) insight into the way my life must seem to alot of people...

Here's what happened this year

Summer Tour

tour dates released - March 1
WH ticket request open - April 6?
WH ticket confirmation - April 20?
WH seat locations - 1 month prior to show?
WH tickets mailed - 2 weeks prior to show

All we ever get to do in the Spring is WAIT! Wait for the dates...then requesting...then wait to get confirmed/denied.....then wait for locations...then the tickets! Pre-season I tell ya....

chances of a winter 06' tour? I'm sry but a new album and rest for dave's voice and what not would be promising for the summer but I need a winter tour! i can't wait till the summer...anyone else feel the same?

Would you honestly be that excited if the tour dates were already announced? I'm getting comfortable with the offseason. Probably because the negativity has died down drastically.

I'm sorry, is it just me, or are other people tired of people who consider the band to be "Dave". I love Dave just as much as someone else, but let's face it, he's not the only one out there calling the shots!

Once again, I suggest NO ONE NIGHT STANDS next year. Shows won't get repetitive, because they'll feel forced to play more songs. I know people hate favoritism, but make the 'big' stops of the tour 3 nighters (and strategically placed) SPAC, Alpine, Gorge, something in the southeast (West Palm?) something in California (Shoreline?). 5 3 nighters for 15 shows, and 19 2 nighters for 38 shows, making 2007 53 shows, just like usual.

Seriously, who gives a fuck? each band member makes millions, I doubt they care that much. Dave is just an abbreviation for DMB and its easy to say. When i see people say Dave i only get irritated b/c i know people like you will call it out everytime.

im with you execpt SPAC replace with Hartford
i mean we deserve a Three night stand just as much as SPAC(just becuse Spac is in a rich Vecation area and Hartford is well Hartford) dont mean us Southern New England fans dont need a good 3night stand a Fri,Sat and Sunday :)

I have a feeling if they did this, the band would have a lot more repeated songs per multiple night stand. Especially next year if we have an album out before the next tour.

EDIT: But we all know this would never happen. Probably a good thing, I think it would hurt my bank account more if they did it this way.
