Its been a while since i've posted in the threads..

all for the buzz is very cookie cutter. it sounds like every other band out there that's trying to do the matthews/mayer thing. and then the vocals kick in and the mayer thing explodes. this is extraordinarily derivative - the breathy mayer vocals, the lyrics.

sailboat senses - this didn't do much for me, either. the lead tone is pretty awful, and the vocals are buried - still mayer-ish, though.

those are the only two i had time to listen to. it's not bad so much as it's bland. there's nothing new to it at all. why not just be a mayer cover band? well, that would actually require a little more prowess with the instruments - it doesn't sound like anyone's really that great musically.

translation (i haven't listened to it yet): you guys aren't off key, you don't miss notes and you perform well. if you want to entertain some people, i'll bet you do - keep it up. if you want to break ground in the music industry, try to establish your own, unique voice, and keep writing.
