hey
just wondering when the new tour is going to start up again... solo (with tim...) and/or band (with tim???i wish.)

i know this forum is a huge source of information haha.

hopefully the tour starts up again
if anyone has any insight... please do share.

Most likely nothing until next summer tour (early June). If there is anything else, it'll be outside the US. For this winter, it's family/studio time for the band.

how many of these kind of threads are we gonna have to look at?

there are so many.

is there gonna be a dave cruise?
is there gonna be a winter tour?
is there gonna be a dave and tim spring tour?
is there gonna be a NYE show?
is there gonna be a BOWA greatest hits tour? (i should start this one):lol
when is the 2007 summer tour gonna start?

good lord, the band will drop the dates when the band drops the dates.

if someone has some info they want to share about some insight into the next tour, im sure they will share it.

dont take this the wrong way GreyStreet32121 its not just you posting threads like this.

we can all speculate, but until the dates are dropped nobody knows anything but the band and their management.

plus the summer tour basically just ended, im sure the guys are looking forward to some time off, and finishing the new album.

everyone just needs to relax a bit! if you need a dave fix. then i suggest getting out there and seeing more shows when they are touring, and not just wondering when the next tour is going to be!:thumbsup

hey man, saw you were from lake george NY. i spent 3 weeks up there last year (was there when that boat sank and all those elderly people died)

crazy cause that town is such a relaxed area, when that happend there was media everywhere!

I don't understand some of you people on Ants. I mean you get a new person who asks a question because they are new DMB fans, and you act like it is such a chore or a sin to answer there question. Just answer the question and move on for christ's sake. It's not that big of a deal. I mean its not like I'm a new DMB fan or anything but I have asked questions before about different venues and its like if you have never been there before and ask a question about it its like noone wants to answer your question. I'm not trying to be an ass, i'm just saying be more understanding to new users.

my comments in this post had nothing to do with the original posters post count

it had everything to do with the amount of threads that are started about upcoming tours, right after one tour ends.

let alone while there is already a dave and tim tour going on.

why not talk about the dave and tim tour thats going on and not worry about when dmb is going back out on the road. we all know they are gonna tour next summer due to the fact they are gonna drop a new album early next year. the tour is more than likely gonna start around the same time EVERY summer tour starts. there has been NO talk of a break. im sure they would have mentioned that by now.

it has nothing to do with who has a high post count or not, i mean fuck ive been on here for a few years and i have low post count.

it has everything to do with the fact that people dont read through the first 2 pages atleast. before they go and post a thread about something that 3 other people have already posted a thread about.

thats all im saying.:cool

Chill out. You just revealed exactly what I was talking about. Maybe some people don't really know how to use this site, and that's why they are posting this question continuously. If you really dont want to talk about it, then dont. Why post something that is going to make someone feel like shit. Not everyone has been using ants for a few years like you. You older users need to CHILL OUT and let the new users break in a bit. And I'm not "running up" my thread count I could care less about it to be honest. It just makes me mad when people get nasty to new users...ITS RUDE. And by posting a comment to the question if there is a winter tour or not is directed at the original posters post.
Nah. What's rude is coming to a website and not reading the FAQS which would answer many questions the n00bs have. It would also teach them where to place threads, how to search for threads, etc.

Instead of "older users" having to compromise and not be dicks to people who deserve it, why can't the newer users just read the fucking FAQS like they are supposed to when they sign up?

I think you guys are mixing up ignorance with rudeness. I'm not saying that the person who started this thread is right all I am saying is lay off and explain to the person what to do, if you dont want to dont comment. There is nothing that says that you have to comment on everyone's posts. And noone deserves to be talked down to either that is why I'm sticking up for the person who started the thread. He/she was never rude with anyone just asking a question because they didnt know any better. And I have read the FAQs and such which is why I didn't post anything pertaining to the subject. I just saw something that looked interesting and read it. I rarely post anything, but I keep seeing things like this and I am getting frustrated. I'm sure in the same way you guys are getting frustrated about seeing these threads continuously. But come on if you actually think someone deserves to be treated like shit just for asking a question then that sucks and says a lot about you.

Hey Swenbater nice to meet you too, my name is Steve by the way. And I never refered to anyone as "you ants" so not exactly sure where you got that from. I did however refer to older users of ants if that's what you mean, which probably wasn't the best thing to do because I'm sure a lot of people didn't like that. And anyway I think I did drop it didn't I. In a round about way I kind of made peace and said lets drop it. I also through a round about apology out there too by saying sorry if I got pissy with anyone I just got frustrated about the subject. That's where I dropped it if you didn't notice and used a stupid joke to try and lighten up the situation a bit. So not exactly sure where you're coming from there guy.

Actually it was just a misunderstanding mostly on my part. I took what he said to another member the wrong way and blew it out of proportion. I'm over it, he's over it. Life moves on.
