Dave hinted last year that he wanted to bring the whole band out. I really thought we were going to see it happen. And to be honest im sad that they don't get to see a full band tour. It could( I think) do wonders for these guys across the pond.

He will, next time I guess.... just one more mini tour and the boys will be over... can't imagine why not. Dave said to me that it's not worth him brinign the band over just yet so he's warming all those that are not us up before the band comes and really blows the socks off Europe! NOt that I want them to do that, I prefer nobody knowing about them and having him/them, neraly, all to myself! :)

I think it's more that him and the band just need some distance sometimes...I mean, between studio and tour time they're with each othe alot. Sometimes everyone needs a respite. There are also practical considerations, such as finding a jet large enough to ship Carter's set overseas, logistics, and the like. Probably completely wrong there...
man, I really want to do this up but it seems like tickets are going to be a bitch to get and also don't want to go to Amsterdam by myself :(

Hey, if you don't want Dave solo over there, we'll take some US dates instead ;)

He said that he'd bring the band over AFTER a few more solo shows because he liked playing them; it's always been his intention to gently build up the fanbase which he obviously feels he wants to do himself. This tour is obviously an extension of the one in May with more specific and deliberate fan-based UK dates and continental ones too. Just give it time :D
I think the whole idea is I’ll make a couple of trips over here by myself and then bring the band over. I think that’s the long term plan. I’m enjoying coming over by myself though because I don’t get that many opportunities to play solo and I like doing it a lot.

I'm perfectly content to get to see just dave again. The show at King's College was incredible, and I've got no problems seeing shows like that again :D

Yet they can get the gear to Australia? I'm sorry, that argument just doesn't obtain.
I think your earlier claim regarding some time apart is much more plausible. All of them have their own side projects also, it is just Dave's that we hear about the most. That may or may not be another factor.

All it takes is one member saying "No, I have plans." or "I want time with family."

My thoughts exactly, betwen the new album, summer tour, Stones Dates, not much time for family or breaks. Fonz I belive has a baby at home. I don't know how Dave finds the time to be constantly busy.
