i'm working on becoming an all around better player and my theory needs to expand first.


i have a 5 string B to G and i found that site it looks good, but does anyone else out there know good sites specifically for 5 string bass.

Could you be a bit more specific as to how your theory needs to expand.
Do you know major, minor scale structures, you know those kinda things.

i know the basic theory stuff right now... however i feel like my playing (style & knowledge) has reached a bit of a plateau and i thought if i learn all these crazy modes and scales i would be able to improve greatly..

make sure you know the basics first... down pat. without an A major scale, the aeolean mode does nothing haha
