Has anyone heard if DMB is playing the Jazz Fest this year? I posted something on the Wh boards but want to extend an invitation to everyone to join me as a volunteer at Habitat for Humanity's Musician's Village. I volunteered for a week last August gutting houses in St. Bernard Parish, and building houses at Musicians' Village ... it was a blast (no construction experience necessary!).

Once I know which weekend they're playing, I plan to volunteer the week before. If anyone else is interested in joining me, post here. If there's enough interest, I will set up a group registration through HFH's website.

As soon as anyone hears something please please post here.

I'm actually going to be in NOLA in early April for vacation but I wanted to volunteer for a morning. At this point I haven't looked into anything so I'm wondering how I can get transportation, etc. If you know anything let me know.

The full jazzfest lineup will be released in february...its a great time no matter what weekend you choose to attend.

I have been the past few years, its sad no DMB he fills the entire race track it seems. Still worth going to check out, and a fun city to party in.

Why wouldn't I go? Because it's a 10-hr drive :P Kinda hard to do on a weekend..

I still might go...or we might just go to NO on a whim...fantastically cool city

i hope to god they join later, i was gonna go to coachella to see rage, but was waiting to see if DMB was goning to jazzfest this year. unfortunetely the one day passes are sold out for rage now. my only chance at being happy is DMB going. crossing my fingers
