Pig is pretty cool. I like the poppy feel of it. I don't love the melody, but it works pretty well and the vocal synching is great.

it wasn't absolutely terrible but i have to say that your voice was out of tune for much of the song...you hit some notes but missed more.

the guitar playing was okay but you need to let the d string ring to fill the song out a little. just playing the e and g strings in the dave chord style makes the song utterly empty.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/8tiqulPig wasn't bad... I like that you have your own sound to it. You have a decent voice... not my type of style... almost boy band-ish, which makes the cover sound weird... but it isn't bad.

Grey Street is tight, but the horns are out there... the tenor's sound is so scattered unfocused. And there's no need to fall off of every last note of the main lick. It was kinda cool a few times, but after every lick it just sounds weird. When the soprano finally showed up, it was horribly out of tune. I think it got fixed before it picked up the violin line going into the outro jam. Some good idea from the tenor solo at the end, but it never really goes anywhere.

Im no Dave Matthews thats for damn sure, granted none of us are. ANYWAY...Im also all self taught over the last 6 years. So be gentle and understand that I lack creativity, orgininality, "good-ness" etc. I just got bored and this is just a line-in recording of you might die trying. My ending blows because i cant do the solo so thats how i decided to end it so deal with it! I am well aware that I fade in and out as far as volume and some other nit picky type things but other than that, let me know what you all think.

I am (was) in a band that is pretty much defunct at this point.. haven't even gotten together to practice since mid december... but we did a #41 cover at our one opening show.... nothing too spectacular... but a bit different sounding from most 41 covers... our guitarist switches up one or two of the chords (i think because he doesn't know the actual chord, but it sounds good... and less like we're just trying to duplicate dmb)

If you have itunes, there is an MP3 converter in the player. Highlight the song, and then click advanced, about 3 spaces down there is a link to "convert song to mp3". If it says comvert to "aac". Go to your itunes preferences and under importing, change the importing file type from aac to mp3. Hope that helps.

DOOF is pretty good... I can't play it!! Don't worry about your voice man... It just sounds like Lou Reed or Leonard Cohen... You are actually on pitch for the majority of it... It gives me hope that Dave will play it some time, I mean he was the one who wrote it... so why not!:hump
